傳統(tǒng)上,隱喻被看作是一種修辭方法,是語(yǔ)言的裝飾。但是隨著人們對(duì)語(yǔ)言學(xué)的認(rèn)識(shí)和研究的提高以及心理學(xué)的研究被引入到語(yǔ)言學(xué)的研究中,人們對(duì)隱喻的研究不斷深入,隱喻不再簡(jiǎn)單的被看作是修辭手段,而被認(rèn)為是人們認(rèn)知世界的一種方式。20世紀(jì)80年代George Lakoff和Mark Johnson在合著的Metaphors We LiveBy（《我們賴(lài)以生存的隱喻》）中提出概念隱喻理論,指出隱喻本質(zhì)上是人們將其在某一領(lǐng)域的經(jīng)驗(yàn)（始源域）用來(lái)說(shuō)明和理解另一領(lǐng)域的經(jīng)驗(yàn)（目標(biāo)域）的認(rèn)知活動(dòng),由此隱喻被上升到“認(rèn)知方式”和“推理機(jī)制”這一高度來(lái)理解。翻譯的本質(zhì)在于意義的傳遞,因此,本文認(rèn)為隱喻翻譯的本質(zhì)也應(yīng)以意義傳遞為主。隱喻翻譯過(guò)程包含隱喻意義的理解過(guò)程和隱喻在目的語(yǔ)中再表達(dá)兩個(gè)過(guò)程。首先,本文以認(rèn)知為視角,從Lakoff的概念隱喻理論出發(fā),探討了隱喻（本文主要指規(guī)約隱喻）意義的理解過(guò)程——隱喻的辨認(rèn)和隱喻意義的推斷,并分析了文化差異和個(gè)人體驗(yàn)差異對(duì)隱喻理解的影響。其次,本文結(jié)合翻譯的本質(zhì),研究了隱喻再表達(dá)過(guò)程。針對(duì)隱喻的再表達(dá),本文圍繞概念域映射的不同情況提出了四種翻譯方法：概念域?qū)Φ扔成洹⒏拍钣驓w化...
