評價性詞語的語義生成：自然語義元法

評價性詞語在人們?nèi)粘＝涣髦惺褂檬诸l繁,它表示個人對某人行為或態(tài)度,以及對某個事物或情況的評價。自然語義元法指出,每一個社會都有一些能夠為日常生活提供價值導向并對人們的判斷和行為進行指導的評價性詞語。很多學者都對評價性詞語進行過探討和研究,對評價性詞語的定義也各有不同。本文把評價性詞語定義為：說話者對一個人的行為或態(tài)度,一個事物或者某種情況的客觀性評價,這種評價是積極的評價,并且能夠代表受評價人或事的主要特點。由于評價詞語使用數(shù)量之多,本文通過對美國人進行訪談和問卷的方式,確定了五個最具典型的評價性詞語。它們是：beautiful, wonderful, amazing, cool和fantastic。本文試圖通過語用化來解釋評價性詞語的語義生成過程：一個詞語最初的語義會在不同的語境中產(chǎn)生新的語用義,當新的語用義被人們所接受并廣泛使用時,它就會產(chǎn)生新的語義并最終收錄于字典中,形成字典義。本文在以通過大量美國電視節(jié)目和電影建立的語料庫基礎之上,運用自然語義元對每個評價性詞語做出了相關的語義解釋。從這些分析出的含義和解釋中,我們可以清楚的辨析這些評價性詞語之間存在的細微差別。通過牛津英語字...
