隱喻研究一直是語言學(xué)家關(guān)注的焦點所在。在傳統(tǒng)研究中,隱喻被認為是一種語言修辭手段。隨著研究的深入,語言學(xué)家逐漸認識到隱喻是一種重要的認知工具。萊柯夫和約翰遜（1980）提出的概念隱喻理論指出隱喻是從一個具體的概念域（始源域）到一個抽象的概念域（目標域）的系統(tǒng)映射,是一種基于身體體驗的認知機制,普遍存在于人們的語言和生活中。本文以概念隱喻理論為依據(jù),基于中英各一個語料庫系統(tǒng)地對比研究英漢顏色詞,以“紅”的隱喻現(xiàn)象為例,試圖填補、完善認知概念隱喻在顏色詞方面的全面系統(tǒng)研究。筆者首先對語料庫中英漢顏色詞隱喻用法的頻率進行統(tǒng)計,并著重對比研究“紅”色的隱喻現(xiàn)象,探討了顏色詞“紅”隱喻的理論基礎(chǔ)、隱喻機制以及英漢語言在“紅”色隱喻方面存在的共性和差異,并從文化角度分析研究的結(jié)果。通過對比研究發(fā)現(xiàn)：①總體來說,英語顏色詞的隱喻用法比例低于漢語。英語顏色詞的隱喻集中在“黑”、“紅”和“綠”色的隱喻,而漢語顏色詞隱喻則集中于“黑”、“紅”和“白”色。②英漢語顏色詞“紅”的隱喻之間既存在共性,也存在差異。一方面,英漢語“紅”色隱喻共享了一部分隱喻映射,如都映射在情感、災(zāi)難、政治和經(jīng)濟域,且在一小部分靶域...
