本文在概念合成理論的框架下,結(jié)合構(gòu)式語法,對現(xiàn)代漢語中的“S比NP還NP”句式進行分析,旨在從認知的角度分析這種表達方式形成的原因,認為這一簡明的表達方式是漢語中表示比較的表達式“S比NP還AP”參照同語式“NP是NP”類推所形成的表達方式。現(xiàn)代漢語中將兩事物加以比較通常使用“S比NP還AP”的句式,用介詞“比”引出比較的對象,這一比較對象通常由名詞充當(dāng)。通過比較突出所要陳述的主語,副詞“還”后需要有一個表示比較結(jié)果的詞,這個詞一般由有程度差別的形容詞充當(dāng)。但是在口語和一些文學(xué)作品中存在“S比NP還NP”的特殊句式,在副詞“還”之后用名詞作比較結(jié)果項,并且這個比較結(jié)果項與介詞“比”后的比較客體用的是同一個名詞,來突出比較主體S所具有的某些性質(zhì)特征。比較通常是在兩個或兩個以上不同但又相互聯(lián)系的事物之間辨別高下或異同,比較結(jié)果選用與比較客體相同的名詞似乎有違現(xiàn)代漢語的語法規(guī)范。本文首先將“S比NP還NP”看作是一個構(gòu)式（簡稱為SNNC）,因其形式和功能的某些方面不能從其組成成分中得到完全預(yù)測。其形式的不可推知在于程度副詞“還”修飾名詞,而且同一個名詞短語在一個比較句式中出現(xiàn)兩次;其功能也無...
