認(rèn)知視角下新聞漫畫(huà)的語(yǔ)篇分析

【摘要】:語(yǔ)篇分析是語(yǔ)言學(xué)的一個(gè)重要組成部分,但傳統(tǒng)上主要專注于語(yǔ)言文字。隨著社會(huì)和科技的發(fā)展,圖像、聲音等也逐漸成為傳達(dá)語(yǔ)篇意義的重要媒介,,所以語(yǔ)篇分析也應(yīng)提升到多模態(tài)層面。多模態(tài)語(yǔ)篇指由至少兩種表達(dá)意義的符號(hào)系統(tǒng)組成的語(yǔ)篇,如圖像和文字組成的漫畫(huà),值得深入研究。 根據(jù)不同主題,漫畫(huà)可被分為三類:新聞漫畫(huà),娛樂(lè)漫畫(huà)和廣告漫畫(huà)。其中,新聞漫畫(huà)有最強(qiáng)大的影響力,它從本質(zhì)上講,是一種新聞報(bào)道或評(píng)論,關(guān)注國(guó)內(nèi)外大事,以幽默詼諧的方式把政治觀點(diǎn)巧妙地傳遞給大眾。新聞漫畫(huà)雖然在民眾中有很強(qiáng)的影響力,但語(yǔ)言學(xué)界對(duì)其重視不夠。目前,多模態(tài)研究主要集中在廣告或海報(bào)上,很少涉及新聞漫畫(huà),有的也只是應(yīng)用分析,將其當(dāng)作另一種廣告或海報(bào)來(lái)分析,缺少理論框架,忽視其自身的特點(diǎn);诖,本文構(gòu)建象征整合模型來(lái)描述新聞漫畫(huà)的意義構(gòu)建過(guò)程,從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)角度出發(fā),通過(guò)象征理論和概念整合理論,試對(duì)新聞漫畫(huà)做一個(gè)系統(tǒng)全面合理的意義分析。 本文根據(jù)皮爾斯符號(hào)學(xué)理論,認(rèn)為象征是一種人為的,任意的或約定俗成的符號(hào),用來(lái)指代某個(gè)事物。新聞漫畫(huà)中的圖像符號(hào),根據(jù)文化或上下文,均可解讀為另一種事物,因此可以定義為象征。通過(guò)分析圖像的象征意義我們可以獲得新聞漫畫(huà)的圖像意義。新聞漫畫(huà)中的文字在語(yǔ)篇中分量不大,扮演的只是信息凸顯的角色。圖像意義和文字意義結(jié)合構(gòu)成漫畫(huà)要傳遞的語(yǔ)篇意義,而這常又與人們正常的價(jià)值體系做出的判斷相矛盾,二者通過(guò)概念整合,矛盾發(fā)生碰撞,形成新聞漫畫(huà)的新創(chuàng)意義,達(dá)到幽默諷刺的效果。象征整合模型是一個(gè)把象征概念融合到概念整合的理論,它保留了概念整合的完整結(jié)構(gòu),細(xì)化了新聞漫畫(huà)的整合過(guò)程。本文選取了100幅新聞漫畫(huà)作為封閉語(yǔ)料,并根據(jù)內(nèi)容將其分為國(guó)家內(nèi)政治社會(huì)事件、國(guó)家間政治社會(huì)事件、經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展及戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)與和平四個(gè)類別。本文依類選取四幅新聞漫畫(huà)作為代表,對(duì)象征整合模型進(jìn)行了驗(yàn)證。研究表明,該模型可以對(duì)所有的新聞漫畫(huà)的意義構(gòu)建過(guò)程做出合理的解釋。 本文基于認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué),構(gòu)建象征整合模型解讀新聞漫畫(huà)語(yǔ)篇意義,發(fā)展了概念整合理論,拓寬了其在多模態(tài)語(yǔ)篇分析中的解釋力,同時(shí)也為新聞漫畫(huà)的意義解讀提供了新視角。
[Abstract]:Discourse analysis is an important part of linguistics, but traditionally it is mainly focused on language and writing. With the development of society and technology, image and sound have become important media to convey the meaning of discourse. Therefore, discourse analysis should also be promoted to a multi-modal level. Multimodal discourse refers to a text consisting of at least two symbolic systems of meaning, such as cartoons composed of images and characters, which are worthy of further study. According to different themes, comics can be divided into three categories: news comics, entertainment comics and advertising comics. Among them, news comics have the most powerful influence. In essence, they are news reports or commentaries that focus on major events at home and abroad. The political point of view is skillfully conveyed to the public in a humorous and witty way. Although news cartoons have a strong influence among the public, they are not given enough attention by the linguists. At present, multi-modal studies are mainly focused on advertisements or posters. News cartoons are rarely involved, and some are just applied analysis, which is analyzed as another kind of advertisement or poster, lacking a theoretical framework and neglecting its own characteristics. This paper constructs a symbolic integration model to describe the meaning construction process of news comics. From the perspective of cognitive linguistics and through symbolic theory and conceptual integration theory, this paper tries to make a systematic, comprehensive and reasonable analysis of the meaning of news comics. In this paper, according to Pierce's semiotic theory, symbolism is a man-made, arbitrary or conventional symbol used to refer to something. The image symbol in a news cartoon can be interpreted as something else according to culture or context. So it can be defined as symbolism. By analyzing the symbolic meaning of an image, we can get the image meaning of a news cartoon. The text in a news cartoon is of little importance in a text. The image meaning and the text meaning combine to form the text meaning which the cartoon wants to transmit, and this often contradicts with the judgment made by the normal value system of people, they collide with each other through the concept integration. The symbolic integration model is a theory of integrating symbolic concepts into conceptual integration, which preserves the complete structure of conceptual integration. This paper selects 100 news comics as closed corpus and divides them into political and social events within countries and political and social events among countries according to their contents. Four categories of economic development, war and peace. This paper selects four news cartoons as the representative, and verifies the symbolic integration model. The model can explain the meaning of all news comics reasonably. Based on cognitive linguistics, this paper constructs a symbolic integration model to interpret the meaning of news comic text, develops the theory of conceptual integration and broadens its explanatory power in multi-modal discourse analysis. At the same time, it also provides a new perspective for the interpretation of the significance of news comics.
