小說(shuō)第一人稱敘事手法在近代中國(guó)的翻譯與接受

  清末民初時(shí)期是中國(guó)文學(xué)翻譯極其活躍的時(shí)期,數(shù)量之多可謂空前。以往相關(guān)的研究,可以大致劃分為兩種思路。一是從翻譯學(xué)的角度出發(fā),探討這一時(shí)期翻譯作品的質(zhì)量和譯者個(gè)人的技巧;二是將這一時(shí)期的翻譯文學(xué)納入中國(guó)文學(xué)發(fā)展史的范疇予以討論。然而,前者的研究往往單純從現(xiàn)當(dāng)代對(duì)于翻譯本質(zhì)、質(zhì)量及技巧的認(rèn)識(shí)著眼,或多或少忽視清末民初特殊的歷史文化背景,因此對(duì)譯者的翻譯不忠于原著以及對(duì)西方文學(xué)及文化缺乏認(rèn)識(shí)頗多指責(zé)。而后者則更多關(guān)注翻譯文學(xué)的影響,卻疏于研究影響之所以形成的復(fù)雜機(jī)制。有鑒于此,本文以第一人稱敘事小說(shuō)在近代中國(guó)的譯介作為切入點(diǎn),對(duì)這一時(shí)期的翻譯活動(dòng)作一個(gè)新的綜合的探討。在掌握大量原始譯作資料的基礎(chǔ)上,運(yùn)用譯介學(xué)、敘事學(xué)、文化學(xué)等理論,對(duì)中國(guó)翻譯界、文學(xué)界認(rèn)識(shí)與接受小說(shuō)第一人稱敘事的歷史過(guò)程進(jìn)行客觀描寫性研究,旨在闡述翻譯活動(dòng)與中國(guó)本土文學(xué)傳統(tǒng)的互動(dòng)影響,揭示翻譯在近代中國(guó)文學(xué)演變與轉(zhuǎn)型中的歷史作用。 本文由5個(gè)章節(jié)組成。第1章在縱覽國(guó)內(nèi)外譯學(xué)研究現(xiàn)狀之后,提出以描寫模式和譯文取向模式重新審視清末民初翻譯文學(xué)的必要,并指出研究第一人稱敘事小說(shuō)譯介的學(xué)術(shù)意義和價(jià)值。第2章以敘事學(xué)為理論框架,...
