【摘要】：郭實臘是第一個拉開向英語世界譯介《聊齋志異》序幕的人。當時"西強中弱"的歷史文化語境以及郭實臘的傳教目的決定,他在翻譯過程中會對原文實施跨文化操縱。具體操縱手段表現(xiàn)為:將《聊齋志異》塑造成一本宣揚"異教信仰"的書籍、大幅改寫原文的情節(jié)和主旨。
[Abstract]:Guo Shela was the first person to introduce Liaozhai to the English-speaking world. At that time, the historical and cultural context of "West strong and weak" and Guo Shi-la's purpose of preaching decided that he would carry out cross-cultural manipulation of the original text in the process of translation. The specific manipulation means are as follows: portraying Liaozhai Zhi Yi as a book preaching "pagan belief", and rewriting the plot and main theme of the original text greatly.
