【摘要】：“忠實(shí)于原著”在古今中外大多數(shù)的翻譯理論中均成為翻譯的首要原則與標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。然而,絕對(duì)的忠實(shí)是不可能的。在翻譯實(shí)踐中,誤譯不可避免地始終存在著。誤譯,尤其是文化性誤譯,生動(dòng)地反映了不同文化之間的差異和碰撞,對(duì)不同文化之間的交流和理解起著重要的作用,因而有特殊的研究?jī)r(jià)值。 本文從“順應(yīng)”(adaptation)這一語用學(xué)研究的新角度探討了文學(xué)翻譯中的文化性誤譯問題。順應(yīng)論是語用綜觀說的核心內(nèi)容,它闡明了這樣一個(gè)觀點(diǎn):使用語言的過程就是選擇語言的過程。語言使用者之所以能夠在使用語言的過程中作出種種恰當(dāng)?shù)倪x擇,是因?yàn)檎Z言具有變異性、商討性和順應(yīng)性。根據(jù)順應(yīng)論,要從以下四個(gè)方面描述和解釋語言的使用,即語境關(guān)系的順應(yīng)、語言結(jié)構(gòu)的順應(yīng)、順應(yīng)的動(dòng)態(tài)性和順應(yīng)的意識(shí)程度。 Verschueren提出的語言的三個(gè)特性能夠用以解釋許多翻譯現(xiàn)象,并有助于理解翻譯實(shí)踐中現(xiàn)有的原則和策略。此外,他的四個(gè)語用研究角度運(yùn)用于翻譯有很大意義。在順應(yīng)論的框架內(nèi),翻譯的過程就是在跨文化交際中,在不同的意識(shí)程度下動(dòng)態(tài)的在語言結(jié)構(gòu)和語境之間作出順應(yīng)的過程。 在對(duì)翻譯進(jìn)行了上述語用研究的基礎(chǔ)上,本文對(duì)文化誤譯這一翻譯現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了同樣的分析,并從語言語境和非語言語境兩個(gè)方面將順應(yīng)理論具體用于探討文化誤譯。其中非語言語境的順應(yīng)主要從心理語境、社會(huì)語境、物理語境三個(gè)方面進(jìn)行了分析。心理語境從譯者心理語境和預(yù)測(cè)讀者心理語境兩方面進(jìn)行討論;社會(huì)語境方面主要是文化語境方面的闡述;物理語境則從物質(zhì)條件方面進(jìn)行分析。語言語境順應(yīng)主要從語碼的選擇、文章的詞組層次和文本層次這三個(gè)方面進(jìn)行分析。通過從語言語境及非語言語境兩個(gè)方面的考察,說明了文化誤譯是在譯入語語境中順應(yīng)語言及非語言因素的結(jié)果。 從順應(yīng)論角度對(duì)文化誤譯的研究有重大的意義:首先,為翻譯建立了一個(gè)囊括認(rèn)知、社會(huì)和文化的理論框架,從而使得對(duì)文化誤譯的研究更具可行性;其次,有助于我們認(rèn)識(shí)跨文化交際中文化誤譯現(xiàn)象的本質(zhì);最后,有助于譯者認(rèn)識(shí)自己在翻譯中的地位。
[Abstract]:Faithfulness to the original works has become the primary principle and standard of translation in most translation theories. However, absolute fidelity is impossible. In the practice of translation, mistranslation is inevitable all the time. Error translation, especially cultural translation, vividly reflects the differences and collisions between different cultures, and plays an important role in the communication and understanding between different cultures, so it has special research value. From the perspective of adaptation, this paper explores the problem of cultural mistranslation in literary translation. Adaptation theory is the core of pragmatics theory, which clarifies the view that the process of using language is the process of choosing language. Language users are able to make all kinds of appropriate choices in the process of language use because of their variability, negotiation and adaptability. According to adaptation theory, the use of language should be described and explained from the following four aspects: adaptation of contextual relations, adaptation of linguistic structure, dynamics of adaptation and awareness of adaptation. The three features of language proposed by Verschueren can explain many translation phenomena and help to understand the existing principles and strategies in translation practice. In addition, his four pragmatic perspectives have great significance in translation. Within the framework of adaptation Theory, the process of translation is the process of dynamic adaptation between language structure and context in cross-cultural communication, with different degrees of consciousness. On the basis of the above pragmatic study of translation, this paper makes a similar analysis of the translation phenomenon of cultural mistranslation, and applies the adaptation theory to the study of cultural mistranslation from two aspects: linguistic context and non-linguistic context. The adaptation of non-linguistic context is mainly analyzed from three aspects: psychological context, social context and physical context. The psychological context is discussed from two aspects: the translator's psychological context and the predictive reader's psychological context; the social context is mainly explained from the cultural context; and the physical context is analyzed from the material condition. Linguistic contextual adaptation is mainly analyzed from three aspects: code selection, phrase level and text level. From the perspective of linguistic context and non-linguistic context, it is shown that cultural mistranslation is the result of linguistic adaptation and non-linguistic factors in the target context. From the perspective of adaptation theory, the study of cultural mistranslation is of great significance. Firstly, a theoretical framework covering cognitive, social and cultural aspects is established for translation, which makes the study of cultural mistranslation more feasible. It helps us to understand the nature of cultural mistranslation in intercultural communication and finally helps the translator to understand his position in translation.
