【摘要】：正2016年9月10日,以曹雪芹著名小說編劇而成的英文版原創(chuàng)歌劇《紅樓夢》在美國舊金山的戰(zhàn)爭紀念歌劇院隆重首演。首演之轟動呈現(xiàn)了近年來美國新創(chuàng)作歌劇中少有的盛況。《紐約時報》在首演之前就以長篇專訪介紹了該劇的創(chuàng)作概念和歷程,美國其他主要報刊及網(wǎng)站也在首演前后進行了廣泛的報道和評論。斯坦福大學(xué)的"泛亞藝術(shù)節(jié)"在首演一年多之前就推出了歌劇片段試演
[Abstract]:It's September 10th 2016. The English version of the original opera "A Dream of Red Mansions", written by Cao Xueqin's famous novel, premiered at the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, USA. The sensation of the premiere presented a rare occasion in recent years among the newly created operas in the United States. The New York Times introduced the concept and history of the play in a long interview before its premiere. Other major newspapers and websites in the United states also reported and commented extensively before and after the premiere. Stanford's pan-Asian art festival was auditioned for opera clips more than a year before its premiere
