自《紅字》問世以來,它不僅受到了當(dāng)時(shí)大眾的歡迎,而且它的魅力百余年來仍然經(jīng)久不衰,當(dāng)然小說的各方面也受到了評(píng)論:小說的主題,字母A的象征意義,清教思想,霍桑的女權(quán)觀等方方面面已為批評(píng)家所涉及。本文作者試圖從米歇爾·�？碌臋�(quán)力理論來解讀海絲特·白蘭與社會(huì)和其他人之間的異化。本文共分五部分,第一部分對(duì)作者霍桑的生活,他的清教觀,家庭背景對(duì)他小說創(chuàng)作的影響,文學(xué)風(fēng)格等方面做了介紹,同時(shí)介紹了小說故事梗概,讀者對(duì)小說的反映情況;第二部分分別對(duì)國內(nèi)外對(duì)小說尤其是對(duì)女主人公各方面的研究狀況進(jìn)行了回顧,第三部分對(duì)本文要應(yīng)用的�？碌臋�(quán)力理論進(jìn)行了介紹。�？碌臋�(quán)力觀顛覆了人們對(duì)權(quán)力的傳統(tǒng)的認(rèn)識(shí),在�？驴磥�,權(quán)力不是壓制性而是生產(chǎn)性的,權(quán)力存在于任何兩個(gè)有差異的個(gè)體的之間,存在于社會(huì)的每一個(gè)角落。同時(shí)分析了論文中要用的異化概念,限定了作者應(yīng)用的異化概念,權(quán)力和異化是本文在討論部分將用到的概念.第四部分在權(quán)力理論的引導(dǎo)下,作者分析了海絲特心理,意識(shí)上的異化,和她的情人,丈夫,甚至女兒的異化,引起海絲特異化的原因即:無所不在的權(quán)力在社會(huì)中發(fā)揮重要作用,海絲特在權(quán)力關(guān)系中處于劣勢地位,被權(quán)力所控制,因此權(quán)力使她...
