“重新命名所見的事物”——從《美國性情》看《帕特森》的歷史想象

【摘要】：《帕特森》是20世紀美國文學的杰出詩篇,也是威廉斯詩學思想的集大成之作。本文試圖以威廉斯前期散文集《美國性情》為研究起點,檢視史詩《帕特森》的歷史想象。無論是個人經(jīng)驗歷史、基于兩性經(jīng)驗的歷史言說、"現(xiàn)時關(guān)注"還是"讓歷史自明顯現(xiàn)"等書寫原則,《美國性情》都發(fā)史詩《帕特森》的先聲,并與《帕特森》一道,構(gòu)建并實現(xiàn)了威廉斯"試圖重新命名所見的事物"這一歷史詩學主張。
[Abstract]:Patterson is an outstanding poem of American literature in the 20 th century and a masterpiece of Williams' poetic thought. This paper attempts to examine the historical imagination of the epic Paterson from Williams' early prose collection American temperament. Whether it's personal experience history, historical language based on gender experience, writing principles such as "paying attention to the present" or "making history manifest itself", "American temperament" preaches the epic "Patterson" and goes along with "Patterson." He constructed and realized Williams' historical poetics of trying to rename what he saw.
