對(duì)勞倫斯《戀愛(ài)中的女人》的生態(tài)女性主義解讀

【摘要】:D. H.勞倫斯是英國(guó)現(xiàn)代文學(xué)史上最偉大,也是最具爭(zhēng)議的作家之一。他的代表作《戀愛(ài)中的女人》代表著其最高的創(chuàng)作技巧和成就。小說(shuō)中所體現(xiàn)的生態(tài)女性思想與生態(tài)女性主義理論的觀點(diǎn)相契合。生態(tài)女性主義的特征是,探尋對(duì)自然的控制和對(duì)婦女的征服之間的聯(lián)系,強(qiáng)調(diào)把生態(tài)保護(hù)運(yùn)動(dòng)和女性主義結(jié)合起來(lái)。本論文試圖從生態(tài)女性主義的角度剖析這部小說(shuō),挖掘文中所體現(xiàn)的生態(tài)女性思想以及勞倫斯對(duì)該文學(xué)理論的獨(dú)特貢獻(xiàn)。 勞倫斯在其短暫的一生中,一直探尋人與自然、男性與女性之間的關(guān)系,并且致力于尋找拯救腐朽的工業(yè)文明所帶來(lái)的社會(huì)萎靡的有效途徑。在這部小說(shuō)中,勞倫斯揭露了造成人與自然、男性與女性之間突出對(duì)立的根源—父權(quán)制世界觀。他強(qiáng)烈地譴責(zé)了人類(lèi)對(duì)豐富的自然資源的掠奪式開(kāi)發(fā)和對(duì)動(dòng)物的虐待和奴役。他也激烈地反對(duì)男性對(duì)女性的控制。勞倫斯所提倡的理想的兩性關(guān)系是通過(guò)伯金和厄秀拉表現(xiàn)出來(lái)的。他們的愛(ài)情最終達(dá)到了一種完美的境界—既緊密結(jié)合又保持各自的個(gè)性和獨(dú)立。勞倫斯所尋找的拯救人類(lèi)的理想之路是,重新建立一個(gè)和諧的社會(huì),在那里人們和自然和諧相處,并且男女之間可以達(dá)到親密的交流。這正是勞倫斯本人曾經(jīng)致力于建立的“拉納尼姆”的理想社會(huì)。雖然他的偉大設(shè)想可能太過(guò)虛幻而很難實(shí)現(xiàn),但在這樣一個(gè)生態(tài)環(huán)境日益惡化、人際關(guān)系普遍疏遠(yuǎn)的現(xiàn)代社會(huì),他的勇敢嘗試具有建設(shè)性意義,同時(shí),也顯得異常珍貴。 本論文除引言和結(jié)論外主體部分包括三個(gè)章節(jié)。引言部分簡(jiǎn)要介紹了勞倫斯的生平、《戀愛(ài)中的女人》這部小說(shuō)的主要內(nèi)容以及前人對(duì)其的研究。第一章主要闡述了生態(tài)女性主義理論和勞倫斯本人的生態(tài)女性主義思想。第二章集中討論了文中所體現(xiàn)的人類(lèi)對(duì)自然的奴役、男性對(duì)女性的控制。第三章則論述了理想的人與自然、男性與女性之間的關(guān)系,,并且描述了勞倫斯試圖拯救人類(lèi)的理想之路。結(jié)論部分是對(duì)全文內(nèi)容的一個(gè)小結(jié),并提出了論文寫(xiě)作過(guò)程的不足及將來(lái)可能的發(fā)展方向。
[Abstract]:D. H. Lawrence is one of the greatest and most controversial writers in the history of modern English literature. His masterpiece, Women in Love, represents his highest creative skills and achievements. The ecological female thought embodied in the novel coincides with the viewpoint of ecological feminism theory. The characteristic of eco-feminism is to explore the relationship between the control of nature and the conquest of women, emphasizing the combination of ecological conservation movement and feminism. This paper attempts to analyze the novel from the perspective of eco-feminism, and to explore the ecological female thought embodied in the novel and Lawrence's unique contribution to the literary theory. In his short life, Lawrence has been exploring the relationship between man and nature, between men and women, and to find effective ways to save the society from the decay of industrial civilization. In this novel, Lawrence exposes the root of the antagonism between man and nature and between men and women-patriarchal worldview. He strongly condemned the predatory exploitation of rich natural resources and the abuse and enslavement of animals. He also vehemently opposed male control over women. The ideal sexual relationship advocated by Lawrence was expressed through Birkin and Ursula. Their love finally reached a state of perfection-close-knit while maintaining their individuality and independence. The ideal way Lawrence seeks to save mankind is to re-establish a harmonious society where people live in harmony with nature and where men and women can communicate closely. This is the ideal society in which Lawrence himself was dedicated to the establishment of Lananim. Although his great idea may be too illusory to be realized, in such a modern society where the ecological environment is deteriorating day by day and interpersonal relations are generally alienated, his brave attempt is constructive and precious. This thesis includes three chapters except introduction and conclusion. The preface briefly introduces Lawrence's life, the main contents of the novel Women in Love and the previous studies on it. The first chapter mainly expounds the theory of ecological feminism and Lawrence's own thought of ecological feminism. Chapter two focuses on the enslavement of nature and the control of men over women. The third chapter discusses the relationship between ideal man and nature, men and women, and describes Lawrence's ideal way to save mankind. The conclusion part is a summary of the content of the thesis, and points out the shortcomings of the writing process and the possible development direction in the future.
