【摘要】：語用學(xué)作為語言學(xué)一門新興的獨立學(xué)科,它主要研究特定情境下的特定話語,特別重視在不同的語言交際環(huán)境下如何理解和運用語言的過程�，F(xiàn)今語用學(xué)領(lǐng)域的大多數(shù)研究都集中在語言學(xué)家格萊斯的合作原則上。 《德伯家的苔絲》是英國作家哈代最為卓越的兩部小說之一。它的背景是英國十九世紀(jì)末的資本主義社會,作者通過大量的不同身份者的對話,揭露資本主義社會的虛偽道德觀,抨擊了十九世紀(jì)末資本主義如何造成英國農(nóng)民階級消亡的悲劇。這樣一部作品很適合以語用合作對其特定語境下的對話進(jìn)行理解分析。 本文提取了《德伯家的苔絲》中大量的對話,按照段落順序,根據(jù)格萊斯的合作原則對對話進(jìn)行了分析。本文并未采用傳統(tǒng)的以合作原則中的四原則為中心的方式分析對話,而是采用以段落順序為中心的方式,為的是更好地把握主人公的心理變化,更深層次地理解人物的性格特征,明確作者的寫作目的——這些恰巧就是縱向分析的優(yōu)勢所在。通過縱向分析法的使用,我們能夠清晰地看到一個活生生的苔絲站在我們面前。當(dāng)然,該方法也有自己的局限性——即我們無法統(tǒng)計文中對話分別違反合作四原則的次數(shù),進(jìn)而無法進(jìn)行數(shù)據(jù)分析和橫向分析。
[Abstract]:As a new and independent subject of linguistics, pragmatics focuses on specific discourse in specific contexts. Special attention is paid to how to understand and use language in different language communication environments. Nowadays most of the researches in pragmatics focus on the cooperative principle of linguist Grice. Tess of the d'Urbervilles is one of Hardy's two most outstanding novels. It is set in the capitalist society of England in the end of 19th century. To expose the hypocrisy of capitalist society. It criticizes how capitalism caused the demise of the peasant class in Britain in late 19th century. Such a work is suitable for the understanding and analysis of the dialogue in its specific context by pragmatic cooperation. This paper extracts a large number of dialogues in Tess of the d'Urbervilles in paragraph order. According to Grice's principle of cooperation, the author analyzes the dialogue. This paper does not use the traditional four principles of cooperation as the central approach to the analysis of dialogue, but uses the way of paragraph order as the center. In order to better grasp the psychological changes of the protagonist, to understand the character characteristics of the characters at a deeper level, and to clarify the author's writing purpose-these are the advantages of vertical analysis. We can clearly see a living Tess standing in front of us. Of course, the method has its own limitations-that is, we can not count the number of conversations in the text in violation of the four principles of cooperation. Further, data analysis and horizontal analysis can not be carried out.
