【摘要】：杰羅姆·大衛(wèi)·塞林格系美國當代著名作家。《麥田守望者》是其唯一的長篇小說。這部小說吸引了全球無數(shù)評論家與讀者的關注,成為20世紀美國文壇代表作之一。在小說中,塞林格通過第一人稱,以青少年的口吻敘述故事,生動細致地描繪了一個中產(chǎn)階級子弟苦悶、彷徨的精神世界。 文體學是一門融合語言學與文學研究的學科,其中文學文體學集中研究文學語篇。里奇的《小說文體論》為我們提供了一個文體分析模式,這個模式包括詞匯特征、語法特征、修辭手段和語境四大類。由于文體分析注重的是語言形式所產(chǎn)生的文體效果,因此需要根據(jù)語言形式在文體中的作用來進行選擇和判斷。對于《麥田守望者》,雖有大量學者不斷探索其蘊含的神奇魅力,但大多限于主題和社會價值分析,幾乎無人從文體學的角度進行研究。因此,本論文試圖通過對《麥田守望者》的文體學特征分析,解釋文學語言如何表達意義和思想。 本論文以里奇的《小說文體論》為理論依據(jù),探討《麥田守望者》的文體學特征。 第一章簡要介紹文體學的主要研究范圍以及里奇的《小說文體論》中所使用的主要研究方法,強調(diào)從文學文體學的角度研究文本的重要性。第二、三、四章從文本分析入手,探討文中的文體學特征。其中,第二章主要分析《麥田守望者》的詞匯特征。包括作者對評價形容詞的使用,動詞的使用,和小說中霍爾頓的兩個突出的語言特點：俚語的大量使用以及詞的重復。第三章是本文重點,主要探討作品的句法特征,列舉了塞林格別具一格的句法特征——倒裝的變異,短句和超長句的使用,以及霍爾頓語言習慣中的句子重復在體現(xiàn)作品風格方面的重要作用。 第四章主要討論《麥田的守望者》的修辭特點,集中討論塞林格的三種修辭格：排比、比喻、以及夸張。 本論文以文體學理論為指導,詳細分析了《麥田守望者》中詞匯、句法以及修辭格的特點,揭示了文學作品的文體風格在深化主題和突出藝術效果時所起的積極作用。同時,也進一步證明文體學的分析可為詮釋文學作品提供一個新視角,具有很強的實用性和操作性。
[Abstract]:Jerome David Salinger is a famous contemporary American writer. The Catcher of the Rye is his only novel. It has attracted the attention of countless critics and readers around the world. In 20th century, Salinger described the story in the first person, in the tone of youth, vividly and meticulously depicting a middle class child. A wandering spiritual world. Stylistics is a subject that combines linguistics and literary studies, in which literary stylistics focuses on literary discourse. Ritchie's novel Stylistics provides us with a stylistic analysis model. This model includes four categories: lexical features, grammatical features, rhetorical devices and context. Stylistic analysis focuses on the stylistic effects of language forms. Therefore, it is necessary to choose and judge the function of language form in the stylistics. For the Catcher in the Rye, although a large number of scholars constantly explore its magic charm, most of them are limited to the analysis of theme and social value. Therefore, this thesis attempts to explain how literary language expresses meaning and thought by analyzing the stylistic characteristics of the Catcher in the Rye. Based on Ritchie's novel Stylistics, this paper explores the stylistic features of the Catcher in the Rye Field. The first chapter briefly introduces the main research scope of stylistics and the main research methods used in Richie's novel stylistics, emphasizing the importance of studying text from the perspective of literary stylistics. Second, third. The second chapter mainly analyzes the lexical features of the Catcher in the Rye, including the use of appraising adjectives and the use of verbs. And Holden's two prominent language features: the extensive use of slang and the repetition of words. The third chapter is the focus of this paper, mainly discusses the syntactic features of the works. This paper enumerates Salinger's unique syntactic characteristics, the variation of inversion, the use of short and super-long sentences, and the important role of sentence repetition in Holden's language habit in embodying the style of his works. Chapter 4th mainly discusses the rhetorical features of Catcher in the Rye, focusing on Salinger's three rhetorical devices: parallelism, metaphor, and exaggeration. Under the guidance of stylistic theory, this thesis analyzes in detail the characteristics of lexical, syntactic and rhetorical devices in the Catcher in the Rye. It reveals the positive role of literary style in deepening the theme and highlighting the artistic effect. At the same time, it further proves that stylistic analysis can provide a new perspective for the interpretation of literary works. It has strong practicability and maneuverability.
