【摘要】：在中英文學(xué)作品中，雙關(guān)語都是一種備受青睞的修辭方法。一方面，巧妙使用雙關(guān)語可令文學(xué)文本的語言變得含蓄委婉、新鮮活潑、詼諧有趣，從而使讀者感受到幽默滑稽、挖苦譏諷、聲東擊西等豐富的語言效果。另一方面，合理運(yùn)用雙關(guān)語有利于更好地揭示人物性格、推進(jìn)故事情節(jié)、營造特殊氛圍。然而，由于存在著雙關(guān)語意義的多層性和中英兩種語言的文化差異性，翻譯雙關(guān)語具有很大難度。因此，雙關(guān)語翻譯一直是文學(xué)翻譯中的一個(gè)難點(diǎn)。 眾多學(xué)者曾從社會(huì)符號(hào)學(xué)、功能翻譯理論、語用學(xué)等視角研究過雙關(guān)語翻譯的諸多問題，但鮮有學(xué)者從接受美學(xué)的角度來研究文學(xué)翻譯中雙關(guān)語翻譯的問題。接受美學(xué)是一種強(qiáng)調(diào)讀者能動(dòng)作用的文學(xué)批評(píng)理論，其對(duì)翻譯研究也大有裨益。根據(jù)接受美學(xué)，我們認(rèn)為文學(xué)翻譯活動(dòng)是一個(gè)由“原作、譯者、譯作、譯語讀者”組成的“翻譯——譯作——接受”的過程。并且，翻譯的起點(diǎn)和終點(diǎn)都是讀者的接受。譯者作為原作的讀者需對(duì)原文加以接受，再付出努力形成譯作，其最終目的也是為了讓譯語讀者能夠更好地接受原作，盡量獲得與原作讀者相同的接受效果。因此，雙關(guān)語翻譯的重點(diǎn)不僅在于語言轉(zhuǎn)換，更在于愉悅讀者，實(shí)現(xiàn)讀者接受效果的最佳化。由此，將接受美學(xué)理論與雙關(guān)語翻譯結(jié)合起來進(jìn)行相關(guān)研究，具有可行性與學(xué)術(shù)研究價(jià)值。 本文立足于接受美學(xué)視角分析了譯者的三重作用，旨在跳出以往以文本為中心的傳統(tǒng)譯論，為文學(xué)雙關(guān)語的翻譯提供以譯者為中心的新視角。同時(shí)，本文嘗試以接受美學(xué)理論中三個(gè)核心概念——“期待視野”、“文本的不確定性和空白”及“審美經(jīng)驗(yàn)”為理論框架，選取了英語文學(xué)作品中經(jīng)典的雙關(guān)語及其譯文為研究對(duì)象進(jìn)行分析，論證了該理論應(yīng)用于雙關(guān)語翻譯的可行性和重要性，從而得出結(jié)論：為提高譯文的可接受度，，譯者應(yīng)當(dāng)注意關(guān)照目的語讀者的期待視野，努力構(gòu)建譯語文本的召喚結(jié)構(gòu)，保持適當(dāng)?shù)膶徝谰嚯x。最后，筆者還介紹了相關(guān)的翻譯技巧，旨在探索解決文學(xué)雙關(guān)語翻譯問題的有效途徑。 總之，本文是在接受美學(xué)理論視角下對(duì)文學(xué)雙關(guān)語翻譯研究的一次有益嘗試，旨在為雙關(guān)語翻譯理論研究及其實(shí)踐提供一定的借鑒和參考，也希望能起到拋磚引玉的作用，引起更多學(xué)者對(duì)此研究的關(guān)注。
