翻譯倫理視角下林語(yǔ)堂譯作《浮生六記》個(gè)案研究

《浮生六記》作為清代自傳體筆記的巔峰之作,是作家沈復(fù)寫作風(fēng)格和人生感悟的完美展現(xiàn),著作以沈復(fù)夫婦的平淡生活為主線,旨在強(qiáng)調(diào)平凡生活中的點(diǎn)滴情趣,二人平靜豁達(dá)的樂觀心態(tài)更促成其后期坎坷生活的藝術(shù)化升華。無(wú)論是沈復(fù)以“筆墨輕靈、描寫細(xì)膩、語(yǔ)言清新、形象生動(dòng)”著稱的寫作風(fēng)格,還是其深受“性靈說”的影響的人生態(tài)度,均與林語(yǔ)堂追求個(gè)性自由、提倡閑適生活的態(tài)度相契合,正是在這種濃厚的中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)倫理的驅(qū)使下,林語(yǔ)堂選譯《浮生六記》并使其成為眾多譯本中的代表作。 翻譯作為一種跨文化交際活動(dòng),并不是在真空中進(jìn)行的,和倫理是密不可分的。自從英國(guó)的巴斯奈特和比利時(shí)的勒菲弗爾在他們1990年合編的《翻譯、歷史與文化》中正式提出“翻譯的文化轉(zhuǎn)向”這一口號(hào)后,翻譯就不再單純地被看作是簡(jiǎn)單的語(yǔ)言轉(zhuǎn)換問題,而更多地被視為一個(gè)復(fù)雜的文本操縱過程,如譯本的選擇、譯者、編輯、出版者或者贊助人的作用等等。安德魯·切斯特曼將當(dāng)代西方譯學(xué)界對(duì)翻譯倫理的研究劃分為四種主要模式,即再現(xiàn)的倫理、服務(wù)的倫理、交流的倫理和基于規(guī)范的倫理。 本文基于安德魯·切斯特曼的四種翻譯倫理模式,結(jié)合翻譯實(shí)踐,對(duì)林語(yǔ)堂的知名譯作《浮生六記》進(jìn)行分析,旨在...
