[Abstract]:On October 13-15, 2012, "the academic Symposium on Chinese Translation Studies and Teaching in the context of the New era and the Ninth Annual meeting of the Chinese Society of Comparative Literature Translation Studies" was held in Beihai, Guangxi.The conference was jointly sponsored by the Chinese Society for Comparative Literature Translation Research Society, the Translation Theory and Translation Teaching Committee of the Chinese Translation Association, the National MTI Education steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the Guangxi Translation Association, and hosted by Guangxi University for nationalities.The Congress received nearly 200 abstracts of papers.
