【摘要】：英漢兩種語言在結(jié)構(gòu)和表達上存在很大的差異,在翻譯的過程中,勢必會造成這樣或那樣的轉(zhuǎn)換。本文借用語言學(xué)的兩個術(shù)語—表層結(jié)構(gòu)和深層結(jié)構(gòu),運用英漢對比的相關(guān)知識,以卡特福德的翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換理論為基礎(chǔ),并提出自己的轉(zhuǎn)換類別,試圖從實證研究的角度來客觀地觀察和描述高低水平譯者間在轉(zhuǎn)換層次上是否存在差異；如果有,具體會表現(xiàn)在哪些方面。 從英文名著《簡·愛》中選取15個具有代表性的句子,通過實驗的方式,讓低水平譯者對這些句子進行翻譯,高水平譯者的譯文則選自己經(jīng)出版的譯本,這些譯文就是研究的語料。通過對比分析高低水平譯者譯文中的轉(zhuǎn)換情況,借用軟件來分析所得的數(shù)據(jù),發(fā)現(xiàn)這兩類譯者確實存在轉(zhuǎn)換層次的差異,這與預(yù)先所設(shè)想的是一致的。實證研究結(jié)果表明,高水平譯者多從句子的深層結(jié)構(gòu)進行翻譯,即先將原文的表層結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)換為深層結(jié)構(gòu),繼而才進行翻譯；低水平譯者由于缺少經(jīng)驗和英漢對比知識,多從句子的表層結(jié)構(gòu)進行翻譯,即按照原文的結(jié)構(gòu)進行翻譯,從而帶有很濃的翻譯腔,使譯文不那么地道。另外,就轉(zhuǎn)換類別而言,高低水平譯者的轉(zhuǎn)換都會涉及。即便如此,高水平譯者的轉(zhuǎn)換次數(shù)還是遠遠多于低水平譯者的轉(zhuǎn)換次數(shù)。
[Abstract]:There are great differences in structure and expression between English and Chinese. In the process of translation, there is bound to be a transformation of one kind or another. Based on Catford's translation theory, this paper applies the relevant knowledge of English and Chinese contrast, and puts forward his own conversion categories. From the perspective of empirical research, this paper attempts to objectively observe and describe whether there are differences in the level of conversion between translators of high and low levels; if so, what aspects of the differences will be displayed. Fifteen representative sentences are selected from Jane Eyre, and the low level translators are asked to translate these sentences through experiments, while the high-level translators choose their own published versions. These translations are the data of the study. By comparing and analyzing the translation of high and low level translators, and using software to analyze the data, we find that the two types of translators do have different levels of translation. The empirical results show that the high-level translators translate from the deep structure of the sentence, that is to say, the surface structure of the original text is converted into the deep structure first, and then the translation is carried out. Due to the lack of experience and comparative knowledge between English and Chinese, the low-level translators often translate from the surface structure of the sentence, that is, according to the structure of the original text, thus having a strong translation cavity, which makes the translation less so. In addition, as far as the conversion of categories is concerned, Even so, the number of high level translators is much higher than that of low level translators.
