羅斯金為透納的藝術(shù)所作之辯護(hù)及其價(jià)值與意義

【摘要】:約瑟夫·馬洛德·威廉·透納(Joseph Mallord William Turner,1775-1851)是19世紀(jì)上半葉英國學(xué)院派畫家的代表,也是西方藝術(shù)史上最杰出的風(fēng)景畫家之一。透納早期的藝術(shù)就得到了官方和大眾的認(rèn)可,在他的繪畫中后期,憑借自己敏銳的感知能力,在畫面上表現(xiàn)出了自然界的真實(shí)色彩,同時(shí)表達(dá)了他本人真實(shí)的情感。他中后期的作品表現(xiàn)出的那種輪廓模糊和視覺強(qiáng)烈的效果,與那些棕色調(diào)的古典風(fēng)景畫呈現(xiàn)了巨大的差別,這讓很多保守派不能接受,因此,受到很多批評(píng)家的指責(zé)——其繪畫風(fēng)格模糊不清,以及他的畫法缺乏完整性。而約翰·羅斯金(John Ruskin,1891-1900)對(duì)于那些對(duì)透納繪畫進(jìn)行抨擊的觀點(diǎn)持完全相反的看法,他認(rèn)為透納是通過真實(shí)地描繪自然風(fēng)景來表達(dá)自己真實(shí)的情感,所以,他一直都為受到批評(píng)家抨擊的透納進(jìn)行辯護(hù),這也是羅斯金寫《現(xiàn)代畫家》的起源!冬F(xiàn)代畫家》一卷五書是羅斯金歷時(shí)十七年完成的,在這套叢書中,羅斯金對(duì)自然、宇宙、天空、云彩、流水、山脈的真諦和他的美學(xué)觀點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了闡述,并且把透納的風(fēng)景作品與古代大師的風(fēng)景作品進(jìn)行對(duì)比,最終證明透納是通過對(duì)自然的真實(shí)描繪來表達(dá)自己的真實(shí)感受,用事實(shí)批評(píng)那些墨守成規(guī)的藝術(shù)家和評(píng)論家。 本文對(duì)羅斯金為透納所作辯護(hù)的主要觀點(diǎn)進(jìn)行探討,并分析這些觀點(diǎn)對(duì)十九、二十世紀(jì)藝術(shù)的影響以及對(duì)個(gè)人的啟發(fā),進(jìn)而結(jié)合自己的藝術(shù)實(shí)踐對(duì)這些觀點(diǎn)進(jìn)行闡述。
[Abstract]:Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) was a representative of the first half of English academic painters in 19th century, and one of the most outstanding landscape painters in the history of Western art. Turner's early art was recognized both officially and by the general public. In the middle and later period of his painting, with his keen perceptual ability, he displayed the true colors of nature on the screen. At the same time, he expressed his own true feelings. The silhouette and visual intensity of his works in the middle and later periods showed a huge difference from those of classical landscapes with brown tones, which many conservatives could not accept, so, Criticized by many critics for his vague style of painting and lack of completeness in his style of painting. John Ruskinn, John Ruskinn 1891-1900, takes the opposite view of those who attacked Turner's paintings. He believes that Turner expresses his true feelings by depicting the natural landscape, so he has always defended Turner, who has been criticized by critics. This is also the origin of Ruskin's writing Modern Painter. A volume of five books was completed by Ruskin over a period of 17 years. In this series of books, Ruskin deals with nature, the universe, the sky, clouds, income, The true meaning of the mountain range and his aesthetic point of view are expounded, and Turner's landscape works are compared with those of the ancient masters, which ultimately prove that Turner expresses his true feelings through the true depiction of nature. Criticize the conformist artists and critics with facts. This paper probes into the main viewpoints of Ruskin's defense for Turner, analyzes their influence on the art of 19 and 20th century and their inspiration to individuals, and then expounds these views in combination with his own artistic practice.
