【摘要】：從1910年8月到1917年6月,胡適留美七載,留下十七卷日記、札記。這七年是胡適文化觀念形成的一個(gè)關(guān)鍵期。通過胡適日記里與文學(xué)相關(guān)的閱讀、接受、交游、創(chuàng)作等記錄,可以看出文學(xué)作為一種日常參與性的文化行為對(duì)他生活的影響和思想的塑造。胡適留美時(shí)閱讀了大量古代典籍和西方作品,這讓他能在文化差異性的對(duì)比中形成對(duì)傳統(tǒng)資源的一種補(bǔ)充和反控,并內(nèi)在地初步建立起他的審美判斷力和歷史批判力。胡適對(duì)于戲劇有偏愛,他閱讀了不少劇本,也多次去劇院觀看戲劇,這為其日后闡明"易卜生主義"等作了前期的準(zhǔn)備。胡適在這一時(shí)期還有為數(shù)不少的翻譯和創(chuàng)作,包括舊體詩(shī)和英文詩(shī)的寫作,他反復(fù)思考詩(shī)體形式與詩(shī)意的內(nèi)在關(guān)系。胡適有將詩(shī)詞歌賦貫穿于交游和個(gè)人生活的文人積習(xí),一面又不斷實(shí)踐,以期舊體詩(shī)詞的體式在現(xiàn)代有所"進(jìn)境",乃終與其后來的文學(xué)改良觀與白話主張合于一轍。而其英文詩(shī)歌雖然帶有不少維多利亞時(shí)代的傳統(tǒng)遺風(fēng),但也為胡適提供了一種新鮮的促其反觀中國(guó)詩(shī)歌的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
[Abstract]:From August 1910 to June 1917, Hu Shi studied in the United States for seven years, leaving seventeen volumes of diaries and notes. These seven years are a critical period for the formation of Hu Shi cultural concepts. Through the records of reading, acceptance, friendship, creation and so on in Hu Shi's diary, we can see that literature, as a kind of daily participatory cultural behavior, influences his life and shapes his thoughts. While studying in the United States, Hu Shi read a large number of ancient classics and western works, which enabled him to form a supplement and counter-control to traditional resources in the contrast of cultural differences, and to build up his aesthetic judgment and historical criticism. Hu Shi had a preference for drama. He read many plays and went to the theatre many times, which made early preparation for his later elucidation of Ibsonism. During this period, Hu Shi also had a lot of translation and creation, including the writing of old style poetry and English poetry, and he repeatedly thought about the inner relationship between poetic form and poetic meaning. Hu Shi has a tradition of poetry and poetry throughout his friends and personal life, while practicing constantly, hoping that the style of the old style of poetry will "enter the country" in modern times, which is the same as his later literary improvement view and vernacular opinion. Although his English poetry has a lot of Victorian tradition, it also provides Hu Shi with a fresh experience to promote his appreciation of Chinese poetry.
