【摘要】：語(yǔ)篇連接詞被視為作者引導(dǎo)讀者對(duì)文本進(jìn)行推理的主要語(yǔ)言手段。讀者對(duì)于語(yǔ)篇邏輯流的解讀主要是基于語(yǔ)篇連接詞的分布。語(yǔ)篇連接詞使作者和讀者達(dá)到順暢交流。英漢語(yǔ)篇連接詞在句法、詞匯意義和邏輯連接上有很多相同點(diǎn)和不同點(diǎn)。 本文將敘事中頻繁使用功能多樣的“所以”和“然后”作為考察對(duì)象，研究它們?cè)谟h敘事中的出現(xiàn)頻率，分布差異和語(yǔ)篇功能，這對(duì)于分析英漢敘事的語(yǔ)言風(fēng)格和個(gè)性特色有重要意義。 為了確保文本語(yǔ)言的質(zhì)量，本文特意選取英語(yǔ)本族語(yǔ)者和漢語(yǔ)本族語(yǔ)者所寫(xiě)的一百篇英漢小小說(shuō)。本文首先調(diào)查了敘事語(yǔ)篇中“所以”和“然后”的出現(xiàn)頻率和位置。然后探討了“所以”和“然后”實(shí)現(xiàn)的語(yǔ)義關(guān)系和功能。最后討論了“所以”和“然后”在英漢敘事語(yǔ)篇中的異同點(diǎn)。 研究結(jié)果首先表明“所以”和“然后”在敘事語(yǔ)篇中的核心意義是表示延續(xù)。第二，英文敘事語(yǔ)篇中的“所以”和“然后”比在漢語(yǔ)敘事語(yǔ)篇中更普遍更靈活。第三，語(yǔ)篇連接詞限制讀者對(duì)上下文理解的選擇。 本研究不僅對(duì)語(yǔ)篇連接詞進(jìn)行了有益分析，也對(duì)英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)的有效方式有啟發(fā)。教師應(yīng)該盡可能提供更多真實(shí)語(yǔ)料，引導(dǎo)學(xué)生注意語(yǔ)料中的語(yǔ)篇連接詞，從而使學(xué)生能夠解讀作者如何傳遞信息、有邏輯地安排語(yǔ)篇。
