恭維語作為一種特殊的語言現(xiàn)象，從十九世紀(jì)七十年代以來，國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者對(duì)恭維語的研究成果層出不窮。在研究早期，語言學(xué)家對(duì)恭維語的研究主要集中于顯性恭維語，相關(guān)研究主要涉及語義學(xué)，社會(huì)語言學(xué)，跨文化交際學(xué)，語用學(xué)等領(lǐng)域。在這些領(lǐng)域中，對(duì)顯性恭維語的話題，恭維語的應(yīng)答，恭維語的性別差異等方面的研究相對(duì)較為透徹；但單獨(dú)聚焦隱性恭維語的研究甚少，尤其是對(duì)漢語隱性恭維語的研究則更為缺乏。隨著語言學(xué)研究的不斷深入，新的語言學(xué)理論應(yīng)運(yùn)而生。鑒于此，本文嘗試用新的理論框架—評(píng)價(jià)理論（The Appraisal Theory）對(duì)漢語隱性恭維語進(jìn)行分類和深入研究。通過對(duì)隱性恭維語的系統(tǒng)分類以及案例分析，旨在揭示這一特殊語言現(xiàn)象的本質(zhì)，并嘗試建立一種新的分析隱性恭維語的模式。評(píng)價(jià)理論產(chǎn)生于二十世紀(jì)九十年代，是由著名語言學(xué)家馬�。↗. Martin）提出的，發(fā)展至今已經(jīng)形成一個(gè)較為完善的理論體系。評(píng)價(jià)理論可分為三個(gè)子系：分別是態(tài)度（Attitude），介入（Engagement）和級(jí)差（Graduation）。態(tài)度系統(tǒng)是探討說話人如何對(duì)人，行為或者現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行評(píng)價(jià)；介入系統(tǒng)主要分析說話人以何種方式表達(dá)個(gè)人與他人的...
