“面”和“面”參構詞語的語義分析及文化闡釋

【摘要】:“面*”是中國最古老的人體詞之一,從最初表示“人臉”的語義通過引申發(fā)展到指代“人”與“事物的方面”等意義。在這漫長的詞義演變過程中,“面”字本身的“人臉”義逐漸被“臉”取代。然而,以“面”作為語素參構的詞語沿用至今,蘊含了飽滿的文化。“面子”與“臉”有所區(qū)別,它的產生和中國文化中的“禮”、“人情”有關,中國文化的特殊性造成中國“面子”和西方文化中的“面子”的差別。中國人對“面子”的維護行為就是一種廣義修辭活動,一些言語交際是運用修辭技巧和原則維護交際雙方的“面子”,消費行為是為了維護“面子”的修辭行為。因此在社會生活中,“面子”對中國人的行為處事影響深遠。
[Abstract]:Face * "is one of the oldest human body words in China. From the original meaning of" face "to the meaning of" person "and" aspect of things ", the meaning of" face "has been extended to refer to" person "and" aspect of things ". In this long process of meaning evolution, the meaning of "face" itself is gradually replaced by "face". However, the use of the morpheme "face" as a morpheme in the construction of the words has been used to this day, contains a full-fledged culture. "face" is different from "face". Its emergence is related to "courtesy" and "humanity" in Chinese culture. The particularity of Chinese culture causes the difference between "face" in China and "face" in western culture. The Chinese people's "face-preserving" behavior is a broad-sense rhetorical activity, some verbal communication is to use rhetorical skills and principles to safeguard the "face" of both sides of the communication, consumer behavior is to safeguard the "face" of the rhetoric behavior. Therefore, in social life, "face" has a far-reaching impact on the behavior of Chinese people.
