【摘要】：外交是國(guó)家之間在國(guó)際方面的交往活動(dòng)，外交語(yǔ)言作為外交的載體，其顯著特征就是講究策略原則和禮貌用語(yǔ)，這是其不同于自然語(yǔ)言的獨(dú)特之處。為此，外交家們常常運(yùn)用外交委婉語(yǔ)來(lái)回答敏感性問(wèn)題以及緩和交際氣氛。外交委婉語(yǔ)的翻譯有別于其他領(lǐng)域的翻譯，它政治敏感度高、政策性強(qiáng)，是一種高級(jí)的政治語(yǔ)言。本文以外交部新聞發(fā)布會(huì)為例，簡(jiǎn)明而又系統(tǒng)地從語(yǔ)用學(xué)的視角對(duì)外交語(yǔ)言中的委婉現(xiàn)象進(jìn)行了分析，并對(duì)如何把握外交語(yǔ)言特點(diǎn)，如何更準(zhǔn)確、更忠實(shí)的翻譯外交語(yǔ)言的內(nèi)涵與外延進(jìn)行了分析。 本文旨在通過(guò)定性分析法對(duì)外交委婉語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)用功能和其翻譯方法進(jìn)行研究。本篇論文共由六章節(jié)組成。第一章是介紹，研究了本文的寫(xiě)作目標(biāo)和寫(xiě)作意義，并從不同方面回顧了先前語(yǔ)言學(xué)者對(duì)委婉語(yǔ)的研究，指出了委婉語(yǔ)的來(lái)源，這個(gè)概念在文中具有廣泛的外延，涵蓋了外交委婉語(yǔ)在詞匯、句法、語(yǔ)篇等層面的使用。第二章是委婉語(yǔ)的相關(guān)文獻(xiàn)評(píng)論，并指出委婉語(yǔ)在不同的文獻(xiàn)中所給予的不同定義以及國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者和語(yǔ)言學(xué)家對(duì)其進(jìn)行的當(dāng)前研究。第三章是對(duì)外交委婉語(yǔ)的綜述，作者對(duì)外交、外交語(yǔ)言和外交委婉語(yǔ)給予了相關(guān)定義，并分析了其特征和在外交語(yǔ)言中使用的必要性以及產(chǎn)生的交際效果。第四章分析了外交委婉語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)用功能，是整篇文章的理論框架，其指出外交委婉語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)用功能是為了提高在外交場(chǎng)合下話語(yǔ)的靈活性和得體性。第五章從動(dòng)態(tài)對(duì)等理論和語(yǔ)用功能理論的角度下研究了新聞發(fā)布會(huì)中外交委婉語(yǔ)的翻譯方法。在翻譯過(guò)程中，需要譯者對(duì)外交委婉語(yǔ)進(jìn)行靈活掌握，根據(jù)相關(guān)的語(yǔ)用原則和交流目的選擇適當(dāng)?shù)姆g方法，作者提出了四種翻譯方法，即模糊翻譯、精確翻譯和對(duì)委婉語(yǔ)的減弱和增強(qiáng)譯法。最后一章是結(jié)論，是對(duì)本文研究的主要發(fā)現(xiàn)和缺點(diǎn)作出的總結(jié)以及對(duì)進(jìn)一步研究提出的建議。 外交語(yǔ)言不同于其他語(yǔ)言，它是一種婉轉(zhuǎn)、禮貌并具有獨(dú)特特點(diǎn)的語(yǔ)言，由此可見(jiàn)，在新聞發(fā)布會(huì)的外交場(chǎng)合中研究其委婉語(yǔ)的翻譯有著重要的理論和現(xiàn)實(shí)意義。
[Abstract]:Diplomacy is an international interaction between countries. As a carrier of diplomacy, diplomatic language is characterized by strategic principles and polite language, which is unique from natural language. To this end, diplomats often use diplomatic euphemism to answer sensitive questions and ease the atmosphere of communication. The translation of diplomatic euphemism is different from the translation in other fields. It is a high-level political language with high political sensitivity and strong policy. Taking the press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an example, this paper makes a brief and systematic analysis of euphemism in diplomatic language from the perspective of pragmatics, and discusses how to grasp the characteristics of diplomatic language and how to be more accurate. The connotation and extension of more faithful translation diplomatic language are analyzed. The purpose of this paper is to study the pragmatic functions and translation methods of euphemism through qualitative analysis. This thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter is to introduce and study the writing objectives and significance of this paper, and review the previous research on euphemism from different aspects, pointing out the source of euphemism, this concept has a broad extension in the text. It covers the use of diplomatic euphemism at the lexical, syntactic and textual levels. The second chapter is the related literature review of euphemism, and points out the different definitions of euphemism in different literature as well as the current research on euphemism by scholars and linguists at home and abroad. The third chapter is a review of diplomatic euphemism. The author defines diplomatic euphemism, diplomatic language and diplomatic euphemism, and analyzes its characteristics, the necessity of its use in diplomatic language and its communicative effects. The fourth chapter analyzes the pragmatic function of diplomatic euphemism, which is the theoretical framework of the whole article. It points out that the pragmatic function of diplomatic euphemism is to improve the flexibility and appropriateness of discourse in diplomatic situations. The fifth chapter studies the translation methods of diplomatic euphemism in press conference from the perspectives of dynamic equivalence theory and pragmatic function theory. In the process of translation, it is necessary for the translator to master euphemism flexibly. According to the relevant pragmatic principles and communicative purposes, the author proposes four translation methods, that is, fuzzy translation. Precise translation and the weakening and enhancement of euphemism. The last chapter is the conclusion, which is a summary of the main findings and shortcomings of this study and suggestions for further research. Diplomatic language, which is different from other languages, is a kind of euphemism, politeness and unique language. It can be seen that it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the translation of euphemism in the diplomatic situation of press conference.
