【摘要】：本論文從批評(píng)話(huà)語(yǔ)分析的角度對(duì)《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》和《中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)》上關(guān)于美國(guó)對(duì)臺(tái)軍售的相關(guān)新聞報(bào)道進(jìn)行分析。文章首先提出了費(fèi)爾克勞的三維話(huà)語(yǔ)分析模式和韓禮德的元功能理論相結(jié)合的批評(píng)話(huà)語(yǔ)分析框架，并在此框架內(nèi)對(duì)所選的語(yǔ)料進(jìn)行分析，即將新聞報(bào)道看成文本、話(huà)語(yǔ)實(shí)踐與社會(huì)實(shí)踐的統(tǒng)一體進(jìn)行分析。在文本層面，文章從及物性、語(yǔ)氣情態(tài)和詞匯選擇等角度對(duì)新聞報(bào)道的語(yǔ)言特征進(jìn)行考察；在話(huà)語(yǔ)實(shí)踐層面，，通過(guò)對(duì)轉(zhuǎn)述引語(yǔ)的消息來(lái)源和轉(zhuǎn)述方式的分析研究新聞話(huà)語(yǔ)的互文性；在社會(huì)實(shí)踐層面，將新聞話(huà)語(yǔ)置于社會(huì)文化語(yǔ)境中以尋求對(duì)文本層面和話(huà)語(yǔ)實(shí)踐層面選擇的解釋?zhuān)沂舅鼈儗?duì)新聞報(bào)道語(yǔ)言選擇的影響以及其中隱含的意識(shí)形態(tài)。 研究表明:《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》和《中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)》關(guān)于美對(duì)臺(tái)軍售一事的報(bào)道基本上是客觀(guān)公正的，但在報(bào)道對(duì)臺(tái)軍售涉及中方立場(chǎng)時(shí)，《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》體現(xiàn)出熟練地駕馭語(yǔ)篇的能力，報(bào)道表面上看似公平卻暗含對(duì)中國(guó)方面偏激、不公，甚至敵意的態(tài)度。相比較下，《中國(guó)日?qǐng)?bào)》的報(bào)道較好地踐行新聞的客觀(guān)性原則。由于新聞報(bào)道不可否認(rèn)地是服務(wù)于政府的且中美之間存在不平等的權(quán)力關(guān)系，兩國(guó)強(qiáng)弱有別，這在很大程度上影響了兩份報(bào)紙如何報(bào)道牽涉兩國(guó)利益的事件，特別是大型軍售關(guān)系到國(guó)家主權(quán)與安全。所以?xún)煞輬?bào)紙對(duì)各自所在國(guó)的偏向也是難以隱藏的。當(dāng)然，在國(guó)際新聞事件的報(bào)道中，各國(guó)的文化因素也起了決定性作用。由此可見(jiàn)，關(guān)于軍事方面的新聞報(bào)道其實(shí)也不可避免受新聞背后所隱藏的意識(shí)形態(tài)的影響，并受制于社會(huì)文化大背景。新聞?wù)Z篇不是單純地反映客觀(guān)事實(shí)；它不僅表現(xiàn)社會(huì)，同時(shí)也建構(gòu)社會(huì)。 本文的研究意義主要體現(xiàn)在以下幾個(gè)方面：a)在批評(píng)話(huà)語(yǔ)分析領(lǐng)域，具體化了軍事新聞的批評(píng)性研究。本論文很好地說(shuō)明了軍事新聞也是意識(shí)形態(tài)的重要載體。b)本研究證明費(fèi)爾克勞的三維話(huà)語(yǔ)分析模式和韓禮德的元功能理論相結(jié)合的批評(píng)話(huà)語(yǔ)分析框架在對(duì)新聞報(bào)道的批評(píng)話(huà)語(yǔ)分析實(shí)踐中是切實(shí)可行的。c)本論文在一定程度上可以幫助提高讀者對(duì)新聞話(huà)語(yǔ)的批評(píng)閱讀意識(shí)，且對(duì)現(xiàn)實(shí)的外語(yǔ)教學(xué)和新聞工作都有一定的啟示。既然意識(shí)形態(tài)滲透在新聞?wù)Z篇中，那么新聞譯者和教學(xué)者必須有一定的文化意識(shí)。
[Abstract]:From the perspective of critical discourse analysis, this thesis analyzes the relevant news reports on US arms sales to Taiwan in the New York Times and China Daily. This paper first puts forward a framework of critical discourse analysis, which combines Fairclaw's three-dimensional discourse analysis model and Halliday's meta-functional theory, and analyzes the selected corpus within this framework, that is, news reports are regarded as texts. The unity of discourse practice and social practice is analyzed. At the text level, the article examines the linguistic features of news reports from the perspectives of transitivity, mood modality and vocabulary selection, and at the practical level of discourse. The intertextuality of news discourse is studied by analyzing the sources and ways of reporting quotation, and the news discourse is placed in the sociocultural context in order to seek the explanation of the choice between the text level and the discourse practice level in the social practice level. It reveals their influence on the language choice of news reports and the ideology implied therein. The study shows that the New York Times and the China Daily report on US arms sales to Taiwan are basically objective and just, but when it comes to reporting arms sales to Taiwan involving the Chinese side's position, the New York Times embodies the ability to master the text skillfully. On the face of it, the report seems fair but implies extreme, unfair, and even hostile attitudes toward China. By comparison, the China Daily reports better practice the principle of objectivity of news. As news reports undeniably serve the government and there are unequal power relations between China and the United States, the strength and weakness of the two countries are different, which to a large extent affects how the two newspapers report incidents of interest to the two countries. In particular, large arms sales have a bearing on national sovereignty and security. So the bias of the two newspapers towards their respective countries is hard to hide. Of course, cultural factors play a decisive role in the coverage of international news events. It can be seen from this that the military news report is inevitably influenced by the hidden ideology behind the news and subject to the social and cultural background. News discourse does not merely reflect objective facts; it not only expresses society, but also constructs society. The research significance of this paper is mainly embodied in the following aspects: a) in the field of critical discourse analysis, specifically the critical study of military news. This thesis illustrates that military news is also an important carrier of ideology. B) this study proves that Fairclaw's three-dimensional discourse analysis model combined with Halliday's meta-functional theory of critical discourse analysis framework in news reports In the practice of Tao's critical discourse analysis,. C) is feasible. To some extent, this thesis can help readers to improve their awareness of critical reading of news discourse. And to the reality of foreign language teaching and news work have certain enlightenment. Since ideology permeates news discourse, news translators and teachers must have a certain sense of culture.
