【摘要】： 盡管研究語(yǔ)境的人不計(jì)其數(shù),但其中大多數(shù)人的研究都是把重心放在語(yǔ)境的大體特點(diǎn)和功用上,而對(duì)于雙關(guān)語(yǔ)中復(fù)雜又難以把握的語(yǔ)境卻少有問(wèn)津。然而,由于雙關(guān)語(yǔ)極強(qiáng)的修辭藝術(shù)效果,其使用范圍卻在不斷擴(kuò)大,不僅在文學(xué)作品中頻頻出現(xiàn),在廣告以及日常對(duì)話中也日趨增多。關(guān)聯(lián)理論是語(yǔ)用學(xué)中的最新理論。它融合了不同領(lǐng)域的研究成果,如當(dāng)代認(rèn)知科學(xué),語(yǔ)言學(xué),哲學(xué),以及人類行為科學(xué),不僅試圖回答有關(guān)交際本質(zhì)這樣的哲學(xué)問(wèn)題,也嘗試分析聽(tīng)讀者的理解過(guò)程。因此本論文旨在通過(guò)關(guān)聯(lián)理論對(duì)雙關(guān)語(yǔ)中的語(yǔ)境進(jìn)行較為詳盡的分析。 論文首先介紹關(guān)聯(lián)理論的主要內(nèi)容,對(duì)以往語(yǔ)境研究的成果予以描述,以提供一定的背景知識(shí)。然后總結(jié)雙關(guān)語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)用特性以及雙關(guān)語(yǔ)中語(yǔ)境的特點(diǎn)和功能。在此基礎(chǔ)上,運(yùn)用關(guān)聯(lián)理論深入分析聽(tīng)讀者對(duì)雙關(guān)語(yǔ)的認(rèn)知過(guò)程,并特別分析了從認(rèn)知、語(yǔ)言學(xué)、情景、文化等方面選擇語(yǔ)境的最佳關(guān)聯(lián)。 通過(guò)這一努力,本論文旨在證明雙關(guān)語(yǔ)中的語(yǔ)境是動(dòng)態(tài)可選擇的,不僅需要雙關(guān)語(yǔ)創(chuàng)造者的匠心,更重要的是需要解讀者的認(rèn)知努力來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)其價(jià)值。同時(shí)也證明了關(guān)聯(lián)理論確實(shí)是研究雙關(guān)語(yǔ)中語(yǔ)境的有力工具,對(duì)其他語(yǔ)用現(xiàn)象也一定會(huì)有很強(qiáng)的解釋力。
[Abstract]:Although the number of people studying context is innumerable, most of them focus on the general characteristics and functions of context, but they seldom pay attention to the complicated and difficult context in puns. However, due to the strong rhetorical effects of puns, the scope of their use is expanding, not only in literary works, but also in advertising and daily conversation. Relevance theory is the latest theory in pragmatics. It combines the research results of different fields, such as contemporary cognitive science, linguistics, philosophy, and human behavior science. It not only tries to answer philosophical questions about the nature of communication, but also tries to analyze the understanding process of listening readers. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze the context of puns in detail through relevance theory. Firstly, this paper introduces the main contents of relevance theory and describes the achievements of previous contextual studies in order to provide some background knowledge. Then the pragmatic characteristics of puns and the features and functions of context in puns are summarized. On this basis, the relevance theory is used to deeply analyze the cognitive process of puns, and especially to analyze the optimal relevance of context from cognitive, linguistic, situational and cultural aspects. The purpose of this thesis is to prove that the context in puns is dynamically optional, which requires not only the craftsmanship of pun creators, but also the cognitive efforts of readers to realize its value. It also proves that relevance theory is a powerful tool for the study of context in puns, and will certainly have a strong explanatory power for other pragmatic phenomena.
