【摘要】： 長期以來,模糊語言被人們視為語言的不足和缺憾而竭力避免使用。隨著語言學家研究的深入,模糊語言作為語言的組成部分逐漸為人們所認識和接受,然而這種認識更多地仍然停留在一些有彈性的領域,諸如日常會話,廣告用語,外交用語等。像新聞報道這類較為嚴肅的語言使用中是否同樣存在模糊語言呢?本研究以VOA新聞為研究對象,致力于探索其中模糊語言的使用情況,包括： 1.模糊語言在VOA新聞報道中占多大比例? 2.模糊語言所占比例與新聞話題是否相關?若相關,呈現(xiàn)出何種關系? 3.模糊語言是如何順應新聞報道的? 為了回答上述研究問題,本文使用了定量和定性兩種研究方法。首先,作者從1000篇VOA新聞中選取了關于經(jīng)濟,科技,歷史文化,藝術,教育,體育,外交,軍事等14個話題的共計140篇新聞(每個話題各10篇),并對其中的模糊語言進行了統(tǒng)計。統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)在計算機軟件SPSS(社會科學統(tǒng)計軟件)的分析處理下向我們顯示： 1.模糊語言廣泛地存在于VOA新聞中。平均而言,VOA新聞中6.8%的詞匯屬于模糊語言,即大約每15個詞中就有1個是模糊用語。如果將模糊的形式考慮在內,則模糊詞語的數(shù)量遠遠超過了模糊附加詞； 2.模糊語言在新聞中所占的比例和該新聞話題的確定程度密切相關。 其次,作者在Verschueren (2000)的順應理論的幫助下從語境關系,語言結構,動態(tài)性及意識程度四個方面對模糊語言如何順應新聞報道進行了詳細分析,提出模糊語言在新聞報道中的使用不僅是新聞報道者在語言上的選擇,而且是模糊語言對新聞報道特殊要求的順應。就新聞報道而言,恰當使用模糊語言至少可以起到便于聽眾理解和記憶,保證報道的客觀性,不泄露機密,和實現(xiàn)政治目的的作用。
[Abstract]:For a long time, vague language has been regarded as the deficiency and deficiency of language and people have tried their best to avoid using it. With the development of linguists' research, fuzzy language as a part of language has gradually been recognized and accepted by people. However, this kind of cognition still remains in some flexible fields, such as daily conversation, advertising language, diplomatic language and so on. Is there any vague language in the use of more serious languages such as news reports? Taking VOA News as the research object, this study is devoted to exploring the use of vague languages, including:. 1. What percentage of VOA news reports is made up of vague language? 2. Is the proportion of vague languages relevant to news topics? If so, what is the relationship? 3. How does vague language adapt to news reports? In order to answer the above questions, this paper uses two research methods, quantitative and qualitative. Firstly, the author selects 1, 000 VOA news articles about economy, science and technology, history and culture, art, education, sports, diplomacy, etc. A total of 140 news articles on 14 topics, including military affairs (10 articles on each topic), and fuzzy languages are counted. The statistical data are shown to us under the analytical processing of the computer software SPSS (Social Science Statistical Software):. 1. Vague language is widely used in VOA News. On average, 6.8% of the words in the news are vague, that is, about one in 15 words is vague. Then the number of fuzzy words is far more than the number of fuzzy additional words; 2. The proportion of vague language in news is closely related to the certainty of the topic. Secondly, with the help of Verschueren 2000's adaptation theory, the author makes a detailed analysis of how fuzzy language adapts to news reports from four aspects: contextual relations, language structure, dynamics and awareness. It is proposed that the use of fuzzy language in news reports is not only the choice of language, but also the adaptation of vague language to the special requirements of news reporting. The proper use of vague language can at least make it easier for the audience to understand and remember, to ensure the objectivity of the report, not to disclose secrets, and to achieve political goals.
