【摘要】：本文旨在通過(guò)研究21世紀(jì)美國(guó)電視劇中家庭主婦的新形象,來(lái)探討當(dāng)今美國(guó)受過(guò)高等教育的家庭主婦的自我認(rèn)同。在這些電視劇中,這些受過(guò)高等教育的家庭主婦對(duì)自身身份表現(xiàn)出強(qiáng)烈的自我認(rèn)同與自信;這與貝蒂·弗里丹在《女性的奧秘》中猛烈抨擊的20世紀(jì)60年代美國(guó)主流媒體塑造的一大批充滿無(wú)助感、挫敗感的“幸福的家庭主婦”,形成了鮮明的對(duì)比。本文認(rèn)為當(dāng)今受過(guò)高等教育的婦女選擇成為家庭主婦的原因在于:在經(jīng)過(guò)了一個(gè)世紀(jì)的婦女解放運(yùn)動(dòng)之后,婦女通過(guò)走出家庭進(jìn)入工作,證明了女性與男性平等的地位和同樣的工作能力,實(shí)現(xiàn)了對(duì)自身能力和價(jià)值的認(rèn)同,也向社會(huì)證明了婦女的能力和價(jià)值。在當(dāng)今社會(huì),一些職業(yè)女性自愿選擇回歸家庭成為家庭主婦,并對(duì)自身身份表現(xiàn)出強(qiáng)烈的自我認(rèn)同感。這些婦女對(duì)自身身份與價(jià)值有著清醒的認(rèn)識(shí),她們之所以選擇回歸家庭是因?yàn)楦粗亟逃⒆拥募彝ヘ?zé)任,她們認(rèn)為做家庭主婦和外出工作有著同樣的意義與價(jià)值,做家庭主婦也是女性的自由與權(quán)利,是女性人生規(guī)劃的一部分,而不是社會(huì)強(qiáng)加的被動(dòng)接受的身份。另一方面;當(dāng)今社會(huì)也認(rèn)可了做家庭主婦是一份重要的工作,并對(duì)家庭主婦提供了法律和制度保護(hù)。因此這些受過(guò)高等教育的家庭主婦認(rèn)可自身的價(jià)值,并對(duì)教育孩子和婚姻關(guān)系表出現(xiàn)一種全新的自信態(tài)度。
[Abstract]:The purpose of this paper is to study the new image of housewives in American TV series in the 21st century, and to explore the self-identity of American housewives with higher education. In these TV dramas, these highly educated housewives show strong self-identity and confidence in their identity. This contrasts sharply with a large number of helpless and frustrated "happy housewives" created by mainstream American media in the 1960s, which Betty Friedan lashed out at in the Mystery of Women. This paper argues that the reason why women with higher education today choose to be housewives is that after a century of women's liberation, women go out of their homes to work. It proves the equal status of women and men and the same ability to work, realizes the recognition of their own abilities and values, and proves to the society the abilities and values of women. In today's society, some working women voluntarily choose to return to home as housewives and show strong self-identity. These women have a clear understanding of their identity and value, and they choose to return to their families because they place more emphasis on the family responsibility of educating their children. They believe that working as a housewife has the same meaning and value as working outside the home. Being a housewife is also a woman's freedom and right. It is a part of a woman's life plan, not a socially imposed passive acceptance. On the other hand, housewives are recognized as an important job and provide legal and institutional protection. As a result, these highly educated housewives recognize their worth and develop a new attitude of confidence in educating children and marriage relationships.
