中美大屠殺題材電影的敘事比較研究

【摘要】:第二次大戰(zhàn)期間,世界上發(fā)生了兩次人類浩劫——亞洲日軍在中國南京制造的南京大屠殺和歐洲德國納粹對猶太民族進行的大屠殺。這為戰(zhàn)后的電影世界提供了豐富的創(chuàng)作主題。戰(zhàn)后,西方人便利用電影這種可以更好的逼真的再現(xiàn)民族記憶的手段開始了對猶太大屠殺題材的電影創(chuàng)作,生產(chǎn)出了如《夜與霧》、《浩劫》、《蘇菲的選擇》、《辛德勒的名單》、《美麗人生》、《鋼琴師》、《生死朗讀》等這些經(jīng)典之作。美國對猶太大屠殺電影的生產(chǎn)主要是在二十世紀七十年代以后,到目前為止,有近200部表現(xiàn)納粹屠猶的影片。影片不僅從人的生存、人性的扭曲、人性的救贖等方面表達了對德國納粹主義的批判和揭露,還帶有濃厚的反思色彩以及對人的終極關懷的人道主義立場。反觀中國南京大屠殺故事影片,從1987年才開始進行創(chuàng)作。20世紀90年以來,隨著國家對南京大屠殺話語權的放開,以及國際社會對南京大屠殺歷史事件的認知,南京大屠殺題材影像也不斷出現(xiàn)在屏幕上。國內(nèi)出現(xiàn)了不少對這一題材影像的理論研究,而且很多學者也開始了關于猶太大屠殺的影像研究。至今中國拍攝了約10部表現(xiàn)南京大屠殺的故事影片。通過對比可以看到中國電影的創(chuàng)作者們在南京大屠殺題材電影的藝術手法、主題內(nèi)容、敘事角度等方面有了巨大進步,但是我們也看到在這種對西方電影學習模仿痕跡下的差距,如影片的主題相對單一,大多是現(xiàn)實主義風格的電影,偏重于歷史講述等,這些都難以和猶太大屠殺影像的發(fā)達程度相提并論。本文通過中國生產(chǎn)的南京大屠殺故事電影和美國創(chuàng)作的猶太大屠殺故事電影的敘事進行比較分析,從電影的主題敘述、人物塑造、情節(jié)設置、敘事時空及視聽造型等方面去敘述論證,對南京大屠殺題材電影所存在的眾多不足進行思考,并提出了自己的觀點,希望對今后的南京大屠殺電影的研究提供參考。第一章的主要內(nèi)容是:一是對中國南京大屠殺事件和南京大屠殺題材的電影生產(chǎn)的概述,二是對猶太大屠殺事件和美國對猶太大屠殺題材電影的生產(chǎn)歷史做了概述,三是對造成中美大屠殺題材電影生產(chǎn)的差距進行了三方面的原因分析。第二章到第五章,論文主要對大屠殺題材電影的敘事做了對比研究,分別從敘事的主題、人物塑造、情節(jié)設置、影像的時空和聲畫結(jié)合這幾個方面進行論文的案例分析和論述總結(jié)。主題是所有影片都需要表達的東西,影片主題直接決定著影片的影像表達方式,大屠殺題材電影的主題內(nèi)容主要表現(xiàn)在對侵略者所犯下罪行的控訴、對人性的表達以及對戰(zhàn)爭的反思;人物和情節(jié)是故事影片的中心,人物形象的塑造是否成功直接影響著影片主題的深刻與否,影片中人物的塑造主要通過人物動作、語言以及心理方面的具體、形象展示出來的,本文通過對大屠殺題材電影的梳理,將影片中的人物形象的塑造進行對比分析;影片的故事性經(jīng)常決定了影片是否具有將觀眾吸引住的效果,而故事的精彩性的關鍵在于情節(jié)的好壞,如果影片中的矛盾沖突張弛有度、故事的懸念跌宕起伏、細節(jié)細膩精致,那么影片的情節(jié)一般都會比較好;電影的基本構成元素就是畫面、聲音、時間和空間,這四個元素的相互影響,并最終決定著電影的敘事結(jié)構和主題,也是考驗一個電影創(chuàng)作者專業(yè)素質(zhì)是否過硬的標準。第三章敘述了中美大屠殺題材電影的敘事比較研究所產(chǎn)生的啟示。主要從三方面做了總結(jié):一是電影敘事的主題方面,南京大屠殺電影的主題需要深層次的挖掘、類型多樣化的開拓;二是對國內(nèi)電影創(chuàng)作者的文化素養(yǎng)和專業(yè)素質(zhì)提出了自己的看法;三是從創(chuàng)作觀念的更新以及對數(shù)字技術的應用方面進行了總結(jié)。結(jié)語部分主要是對本論文的論述進行了總結(jié)歸納,試圖找到中美兩國對大屠殺題材電影差距的原因。
