【摘要】：本文以國際學者發(fā)表的期刊論文和以英語為第二語言的中國研究生所寫的英語碩士論文中引用話語中的轉述進行對比研究,意在為中國學習者提供一個引語話語的轉述參考模式。本論文以Martin(2003)的評價理論、Swales(1990)的體裁分析以及Hyland(1999)的轉述動詞分類為理論框架,目的在于探索兩組作者群體引用話語的轉述使用特點,從而以國際學者的語料庫為參考標準,為國內學習者獲得學術寫作方面的啟示。本研究基于自建語料庫,利用軟件和人工相結合的辦法提取和分析數(shù)據,試圖從引用句型、引用和轉述動詞的使用頻率、各類轉述動詞的使用以及轉述動詞的時態(tài)和語態(tài)幾個方面對比兩組語料庫在學術論文引用話語中轉述語和轉述動詞的異同點,從而找出中國學習者在其使用上存在的問題。本論文的研究語料由15篇國際學者在權威期刊發(fā)表的論文中的引用話語以及15篇國內某重點院校英語專業(yè)學生所寫的碩士論文中的引用話語組成,其主題都與寫作相關,總字數(shù)分別為103,305和356,250。這30篇論文均來自于2006-2013年,并且都為"IMRD"結構的實證類論文。對于引用話語的編碼則參照Mansouriadeh Ahmad (2011)對引用話語的界定方法。本文對比研究的結果表明：國內學生在學術寫作的引用以及轉述動詞的使用頻率上仍然沒有達到在國際上發(fā)表期刊論文的要求,使用頻率較低。此外,國際學者偏向使用非融入轉述強調轉述的客觀性以及被轉述的信息,而中國學習者偏好使用融入性轉述把話語觀點交給被引用的作者；國內學習者高頻使用的轉述動詞,涵蓋了研究動詞、認知動詞和語篇動詞三類,表明他們在寫作過程中能夠有意識地使用不同類型的轉述詞匯,并且借助它們來表達自己立場和態(tài)度,但仍存在誤用的情況。這也說明國內學習者對各類轉述動詞的語義認識還需加強。在轉述動詞的時態(tài)方面,國內學者過于依賴一般過去時和一般現(xiàn)在時的使用,這表明國內學習者其它時態(tài)的認識還存在不足。在其語態(tài)方面,國內學習者雖仍然偏向使用主動語態(tài),但已能較多運用被動語態(tài)來強調被轉述信息。然而在引用話語中國際學者更傾向于使用主動語態(tài)來使他們表達更為主觀和直接。本文通過對比研究嘗試為中國學習者英語學術寫作中引用話語的使用提供一種能達到國際權威認可的標準參考模式,意在幫助國內學習者在學術寫作中更好地理解和運用引用話語中的轉述問題,同時也為中國英語學術寫作教學提供了有益的參考。
