本文是一篇翻譯實踐報告。選譯原文是《全球視角下的科技治理和道德理念——以歐洲、印度、中國為例》中的第一章及第二章。第一章對道德理念做出明確定義。第二章呈現(xiàn)當前歐洲、印度、中國的道德理念爭論現(xiàn)狀,以使讀者了解道德理念在科技發(fā)展政策中的重要性、差異性和復雜性。本翻譯實踐主要以關(guān)聯(lián)理論為理論依據(jù)。關(guān)聯(lián)理論認為人類交際的關(guān)鍵在于創(chuàng)造一種對于最佳關(guān)聯(lián)性的企望,即交際者企望他試圖進行的解釋能以最低的加工成本獲得足夠的效果。因此,依譯者看來,翻譯作為兩種語言之間進行的特殊交際行為,關(guān)鍵在于譯文是否具有足夠的關(guān)聯(lián)性,從而保障讀者只需付出極低的加工成本。譯者遵循以關(guān)聯(lián)理論為依據(jù)提出的明說翻譯（explicature translation）,對原文中的模糊內(nèi)容進行推理及翻譯,以期澄明原文信息,保障讀者順利且可信的閱讀體驗。另外,針對原文中數(shù)量頗多的長難句翻譯,譯者采用了順序譯法和逆序譯法。譯者自覺需要學習更多理論知識,錘煉翻譯實踐技巧,以期改善翻譯水平。
