圖書館學(xué)研究中的本質(zhì)主義與反本質(zhì)主義論評

【摘要】:在我國圖書館學(xué)界,目前出現(xiàn)了本質(zhì)主義與反本質(zhì)主義之爭。圖書館學(xué)研究中的本質(zhì)主義傳統(tǒng)淵源流長,其基本表現(xiàn)是"現(xiàn)象—本質(zhì)"二元分離觀,認(rèn)為圖書館現(xiàn)象背后隱藏著本質(zhì),這是將圖書館本質(zhì)客觀化和對象化的傳統(tǒng)思維方式。反本質(zhì)主義則依據(jù)現(xiàn)象學(xué)和后現(xiàn)代主義思想,認(rèn)為圖書館本質(zhì)與其說是"現(xiàn)象背后"隱藏著的某種神秘東西,毋寧說是對圖書館現(xiàn)象的直面認(rèn)識和實踐過程中自然顯現(xiàn)出來的應(yīng)然性東西。反本質(zhì)主義反對通過設(shè)定"現(xiàn)象背后有本質(zhì)"的預(yù)設(shè)性邏輯去抽象出圖書館本質(zhì)的思想方法,同時反對熱衷于圖書館本質(zhì)探討的學(xué)術(shù)生態(tài)。本質(zhì)主義與反本質(zhì)主義是兩種不同的學(xué)術(shù)范式,兩者應(yīng)該在保持對話的學(xué)術(shù)倫理中共存。文章通過西方哲學(xué)思想和中國本土思想資源相結(jié)合的方法,對本質(zhì)主義與反本質(zhì)主義觀點進行了較全面的評論。
[Abstract]:At present, there is a dispute between essentialism and anti-essentialism in the academic circle of libraries in China. The traditional origin of essentialism in library science research is long, and its basic manifestation is the dual separation view of "phenomenon-essence". It is believed that the essence of library is hidden behind it, which is the traditional thinking mode of objectifying and objectifying the nature of library, while anti-essentialism is based on phenomenology and postmodernism. Thinking that the nature of a library is not so much a mysterious thing as "behind the phenomenon", Rather, it is something that naturally appears in the process of cognition and practice of library phenomenon. Anti-essentialism opposes abstracting the thought method of library essence by setting up the presupposition logic of "the essence behind the phenomenon". At the same time, it opposes the academic ecology which is keen on the nature of library. Essentialism and anti-essentialism are two different academic paradigms. Both should coexist in the academic ethics of maintaining dialogue. This paper makes a comprehensive comment on essentialism and anti-essentialism through the combination of western philosophical thoughts and Chinese native ideological resources.
