因果復(fù)句是語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)的重要組成部分。在因果復(fù)句的研究中,對(duì)因果連詞的研究尤其重要。然而,以往學(xué)者對(duì)因果連詞的研究大多是共時(shí)研究,歷時(shí)研究很少。本研究選擇英漢原因連詞作為研究對(duì)象,主要解決以下三個(gè)問(wèn)題:（1）英語(yǔ)原因連詞的原型特征在語(yǔ)用頻率、句法位置和語(yǔ)義強(qiáng)度三個(gè)方面經(jīng)歷了什么演變歷程?（2）漢語(yǔ)原因連詞的原型特征在語(yǔ)用頻率、句法位置和語(yǔ)義強(qiáng)度三個(gè)方面經(jīng)歷了什么演變歷程?（3）英漢原因連詞的原型特征演變有何異同?其理?yè)?jù)是什么?首先,本研究基于原型理論和采用定量分析的方法找出各時(shí)期英漢原因連詞原型的語(yǔ)用頻率;其次,探究各時(shí)期英漢原因連詞原型的標(biāo)記模式和其所連接的因果復(fù)句的語(yǔ)序;再次,探究各時(shí)期英漢原因連詞原型所連接的因果復(fù)句的主客觀語(yǔ)義;最后,對(duì)比英漢原因連詞原型特征演變的異同并解釋其理?yè)?jù)。本研究的主要發(fā)現(xiàn)如下:（1）英語(yǔ)原因連詞的原型特征演變。首先,英語(yǔ)原因連詞的原型演變?yōu)閒or<for<for<because,其語(yǔ)用頻率一直保持在65%以上;其次,英語(yǔ)原因連詞原型的標(biāo)記模式一直居中占優(yōu)勢(shì)和果-因語(yǔ)序一直為優(yōu)勢(shì)語(yǔ)序;最后,英語(yǔ)原因連詞原型的主觀義頻率演變?yōu)?1.61%、6...
