中國(guó)國(guó)際地位不斷提高,中外交流不斷深入。大量國(guó)外歷史文獻(xiàn)譯介到國(guó)內(nèi)。在眾多翻譯成中文的歷史文獻(xiàn)中,涉及愛(ài)爾蘭革命的譯著較少。在中國(guó)圖書網(wǎng)和其它網(wǎng)上書店中尚未找到專門介紹愛(ài)爾蘭革命的譯著。2018年8月,本報(bào)告作者受西安巴頓萬(wàn)伊傳媒有限公司委托,翻譯《愛(ài)爾蘭1879-1923》。該書由北愛(ài)爾蘭歷史學(xué)家大衛(wèi)·喬治·博伊斯編纂,英國(guó)倫敦麥克米倫教育出版集團(tuán)于1988年出版。委托方表示,目前該書尚無(wú)中譯本發(fā)行。該書的翻譯頗具實(shí)踐意義。本報(bào)告描述并分析了《愛(ài)爾蘭革命1879-1923》第五章和第八章的英漢翻譯實(shí)踐過(guò)程,并對(duì)本次翻譯實(shí)踐做了反思和總結(jié)。本報(bào)告由引言、任務(wù)描述、翻譯過(guò)程描述、案例分析和總結(jié)五部分組成。本報(bào)告第一章分析了本次翻譯實(shí)踐的意義,介紹了本報(bào)告的框架結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章描述了本次翻譯任務(wù)的相關(guān)內(nèi)容及委托方的要求,分析了源文遣詞造句的特點(diǎn)。第三章介紹了翻譯實(shí)踐中背景知識(shí)的準(zhǔn)備情況,以及翻譯工具和平行文本的選擇,確定彼得·紐馬克的文本類型理論為本次翻譯實(shí)踐的指導(dǎo)理論。根據(jù)彼得·紐馬克的文本類型理論,本次翻譯實(shí)踐的源文為信息性文本,所以采用交際翻譯法來(lái)解決翻譯過(guò)程中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題。第三章還呈現(xiàn)了...
