【摘要】：在全球化的大背景下,專(zhuān)家學(xué)者對(duì)翻譯的研究已發(fā)生根本上的轉(zhuǎn)變。自二十世紀(jì)80年代,已從譯者和產(chǎn)品研究擴(kuò)大到翻譯過(guò)程及其對(duì)翻譯產(chǎn)品影響的研究。從90年代后期,翻譯研究又從翻譯能力延伸到翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能研究。為應(yīng)對(duì)全球化帶來(lái)的機(jī)遇和挑戰(zhàn)以及語(yǔ)言服務(wù)業(yè)的快速發(fā)展的新形勢(shì),翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能還涵蓋了本地化、術(shù)語(yǔ)、編譯、技術(shù)寫(xiě)作等領(lǐng)域的各種技能。為滿(mǎn)足時(shí)代的需要,高校和翻譯培訓(xùn)機(jī)構(gòu)需培養(yǎng)能夠應(yīng)對(duì)社會(huì)需求的、具有翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的人才。為此,翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的研究成為本研究的主題。 翻譯活動(dòng)是一個(gè)十分復(fù)雜的過(guò)程,需要譯者具有較高的各方面能力。國(guó)內(nèi)外大批專(zhuān)家學(xué)者將其稱(chēng)為翻譯能力,并對(duì)其進(jìn)行了深入探索。但他們研究的焦點(diǎn)多集中在組成翻譯能力的成分構(gòu)成及翻譯策略在眾多子能力的核心作用,鮮有人以翻譯能力研究為基礎(chǔ),從認(rèn)知科學(xué)的視角來(lái)研究翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能�，F(xiàn)今隨著翻譯產(chǎn)業(yè)轉(zhuǎn)向職業(yè)化、信息化、網(wǎng)絡(luò)化、產(chǎn)業(yè)化,加之國(guó)際交流日益頻繁,對(duì)于擁有翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能譯者的需求不斷增加,他們?cè)诂F(xiàn)代社會(huì)中所扮演的角色越發(fā)重要。因此,嗟需研究翻譯的專(zhuān)業(yè)技能,建立翻譯人才的培養(yǎng)模式,以滿(mǎn)足社會(huì)與市場(chǎng)需求。 翻譯的過(guò)程是譯者復(fù)雜的思維過(guò)程。譯者的認(rèn)知能力對(duì)翻譯質(zhì)量有著深刻影響。只有從不同層面了解譯者的認(rèn)知資源和認(rèn)知能力,才能夠?qū)⑵渑囵B(yǎng)成滿(mǎn)足社會(huì)需求的專(zhuān)家譯者。同時(shí),在培養(yǎng)專(zhuān)家譯者的過(guò)程中,還需了解其在不同的翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能發(fā)展階段認(rèn)知變化的規(guī)律。 綜上所述,本文所研究的對(duì)象確定為翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能,一般譯者產(chǎn)生同專(zhuān)家譯者相同認(rèn)知變化特征和模式的途徑以及翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的理論研究如何為譯者培養(yǎng)提供理論支持。本研究將按如下五章展開(kāi)： 首先,引言一章介紹了本研究的研究背景、研究目的、支撐本研究的相關(guān)理論根據(jù),還介紹了文章的研究方法論。第二章主要論述了翻譯領(lǐng)域里中外專(zhuān)家與學(xué)者對(duì)翻譯能力和翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的研究。通過(guò)回顧兩個(gè)研究領(lǐng)域的歷史沿革,了解了主要代表人物所依據(jù)的理論基礎(chǔ)、采用的研究方法、及所獲得的前沿性成果,從而確定了本研究所應(yīng)用的由美國(guó)著名翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能領(lǐng)域理論家喬治.施里夫提出的翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能理論(COTE)---翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能認(rèn)知特征理論。第三章重點(diǎn)論述了翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能在現(xiàn)代社會(huì)中的應(yīng)用。在介紹了語(yǔ)言服務(wù)行業(yè)、本地化、技術(shù)寫(xiě)作等領(lǐng)域(視如上領(lǐng)域?yàn)榉g專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的擴(kuò)展)的發(fā)展?fàn)顩r后,分析了翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能在其中發(fā)揮的具體作用。第四章著手對(duì)翻譯領(lǐng)域?qū)I(yè)技能的發(fā)展進(jìn)行個(gè)案研究。簡(jiǎn)要進(jìn)行了理論層面上的討論后,較詳細(xì)地描述了實(shí)驗(yàn)的構(gòu)思,過(guò)程和方法,記錄了所誘出的受試在翻譯過(guò)程中所產(chǎn)生的各種有效數(shù)據(jù)。本研究采用了實(shí)驗(yàn)研究中較為科學(xué)的三角測(cè)量法(Triangulation):即通過(guò)對(duì)有聲思維(TAPs)所獲取的質(zhì)性數(shù)據(jù)、電腦操作記錄軟件(Translog)所獲取的量性數(shù)據(jù)及譯后追溯性訪談(Retrospective Interview)所提取的語(yǔ)料相互進(jìn)行比對(duì)與分析,得出了可靠度與效度較高的結(jié)論,較為科學(xué)地驗(yàn)證了COTE理論在中國(guó)翻譯環(huán)境下,尤其是對(duì)漢英翻譯的解釋力與涵蓋性。藉此,歸納出翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的結(jié)構(gòu)、發(fā)展階段及獲取翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能可行性方法---有目的性之操練(Deliberate Practice)。最后一章的研究重點(diǎn)是,解決翻譯過(guò)程實(shí)驗(yàn)研究中得出的數(shù)據(jù)與結(jié)論如何在實(shí)際翻譯教學(xué)中加以應(yīng)用的問(wèn)題,并結(jié)合現(xiàn)有的教學(xué)方法,總結(jié)出適用于中國(guó)本土的一般譯者翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的培養(yǎng)路徑。 本研究所得出的結(jié)論基本實(shí)現(xiàn)了預(yù)定的研究目標(biāo),即厘清了翻譯能力同翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能的異同、檢驗(yàn)了個(gè)案研究實(shí)驗(yàn)工具,尤其是Translog的操作性及準(zhǔn)確性,通過(guò)Triangulation部分驗(yàn)證了翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能理論的解釋力。本研究得出的結(jié)果和理論驗(yàn)證對(duì)于今后翻譯領(lǐng)域的研究人員進(jìn)一步探究翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能有一定借鑒作用,有利于以實(shí)驗(yàn)研究作為切入點(diǎn),從認(rèn)知科學(xué)和翻譯學(xué)相結(jié)合的跨學(xué)科視角,對(duì)翻譯專(zhuān)業(yè)技能進(jìn)行科學(xué)理性的探索。
