    前言："生態(tài)環(huán)境"這一漢語(yǔ)名詞是我國(guó)目前使用頻率較高的術(shù)語(yǔ)之一,但同時(shí)也是較有爭(zhēng)議的術(shù)語(yǔ)之一。據(jù)分析,它在我國(guó)的使用至少可以追溯到20世紀(jì)50年代初期,最初是從俄文"экотоп"和英文"ecotope"翻譯而來(lái)。但是"生態(tài)環(huán)境"這一漢語(yǔ)名詞目前已經(jīng)基本脫離了"母體",與"экотоп"和"ecotope"的聯(lián)系很少。我國(guó)已經(jīng)普遍將"生態(tài)環(huán)境"與"ecologicalenvironment"作為漢英、英漢雙向?qū)φ彰~。以生物為主體,"生態(tài)環(huán)境"可以定義為"對(duì)生物生長(zhǎng)、發(fā)育、生殖、行為和分布有影響的環(huán)境因子的綜合"。以人類(lèi)為主體,它是指"對(duì)人類(lèi)生存和發(fā)展有影響的自然因子的綜合"。這一名詞可以作為生態(tài)學(xué)的規(guī)范名詞來(lái)使用。
    The term "ecological environment" in Chinese is now one of the terms in common use in daily life as well as in ecology in China. However it is regrettable that it is also one of the most disputed in usage among Chinese ecologists.
