【摘要】：英語(yǔ)已經(jīng)成為當(dāng)前公認(rèn)的全球通用語(yǔ)言。英語(yǔ)的發(fā)展離不開(kāi)英國(guó)的殖民擴(kuò)張活動(dòng)以及使用英語(yǔ)為民族國(guó)家語(yǔ)言的美國(guó)的強(qiáng)大實(shí)力。北美殖民地是英語(yǔ)向世界范圍傳播的第一站。移民是語(yǔ)言傳播的載體,移民中的清教徒在英語(yǔ)傳播至北美的過(guò)程中發(fā)揮了重要作用。正是清教徒的"使命觀"和建立"山巔之城"的理想成就了強(qiáng)大的美國(guó),也正是清教徒對(duì)自身身份的認(rèn)同和堅(jiān)持使得他們?cè)诓粩嗟倪w徙中把自己的語(yǔ)言文化傳播到了世界各處。因此,可以說(shuō),清教徒是英語(yǔ)全球化序幕的開(kāi)啟者。
[Abstract]:English has become a recognized global language. The development of English is inseparable from Britain's colonial expansion and the strong strength of the United States, which uses English as a national language. The North American colonies were the first stop in the spread of English to the world. The Pilgrims played an important role in the spread of English to North America. It is the Puritans' concept of mission and the ideal of building a city on the top of the mountain that has made the United States strong, and it is the Puritans' identity and persistence that have made them spread their language and culture all over the world in the course of their constant migration. Therefore, it can be said that the Puritans are the prelude to the globalization of English.
