【摘要】：長壽寺是清代的廣東著名寺院,1905年,由于廣州辦學(xué)紳董強(qiáng)借該寺房屋創(chuàng)辦新式學(xué)堂,引發(fā)了僧紳沖突,進(jìn)而導(dǎo)致了民眾暴力毀學(xué)。事件發(fā)生后,寺僧、學(xué)董互相控告,士紳和學(xué)董激烈攻防,省府州縣高效聯(lián)動(dòng),各大報(bào)紙雜志爭相報(bào)道,以致高層震怒,將長壽寺拆毀,全部寺產(chǎn)變賣充公。長壽寺毀學(xué)事件,深刻反映了清末廟產(chǎn)紛爭中官、紳、僧、民的復(fù)雜關(guān)系。
[Abstract]:Changshang Temple was a famous monastery in the Qing Dynasty. In 1905, because of the new-style school set up by Dong Qiang, a school run by the gentry in Guangzhou, which led to the conflict between the monks and gentry, which led to the violent destruction of the school by the masses. After the incident, the monks and monks of the temple and the school director sued each other. The fierce attack and defense by gentry and Dong Xue, the highly effective linkage between provincial governments, prefectures and counties, and the scramble of newspapers and magazines to report on each other led to the anger of the high echelons, and the demolition of the monasteries and the sale of all the monasteries. The incident of the destruction of the Changshang Temple deeply reflected the official and gentry in the disputes over temple and property in the late Qing Dynasty. The complex relationship between the monk and the people.
