【摘要】：正哈佛大學(xué)的羅伯特·D.帕特南(Robert D.Putnam)教授一九九三年出版的《使民主運轉(zhuǎn)起來》一舉奠定了他在西方學(xué)術(shù)界的權(quán)威性地位,該書出版不久即獲得了美國易斯·布朗羅圖書獎�！督�(jīng)濟學(xué)家》雜志稱此書的學(xué)術(shù)價值"足以與托克維爾、帕累托和韋伯的著作齊名"。帕特南以"制度績效"為研究主線,目的是要增進我們對民主制度之績效的理解。通過對意大利自一九七○年開始的政治制度變革試驗長達二十多年的追蹤研究,通過實證的調(diào)研和數(shù)據(jù)的搜集,以及模型的演算和數(shù)據(jù)分析處理,作者得出結(jié)論:"公民共同合作的社會契約基礎(chǔ),
[Abstract]:Robert D. Professor Robert D.Putnam 's 1993 publication of "making Democracy work" laid a solid foundation for his authoritative position in Western academia. The book won the Louise Brownlow Book Award shortly after its publication. The Economist magazine called the book's academic value "worthy of the names of Tocqueville, Pareto and Weber." Patnam focuses on institutional performance in order to enhance our understanding of the performance of democracy.
