【摘要】：湘潭，別稱“蓮城”，，又稱“潭城”，地處湘江中游，位于湖南中部，是湖湘文化的發(fā)源地之一。近代以來，湘潭成為湖南地區(qū)人才薈萃之地，這種現(xiàn)象的出現(xiàn)與近現(xiàn)代湘潭的教育分不開。甲午中日戰(zhàn)爭后，湖南省如火如荼的開展了近代新式教育的改革，湘潭也包括在其中。民國時期，湘潭縣私立教育得到了前所未有的發(fā)展，填補了當(dāng)時因社會動蕩不安的局勢造成的公立教育的不足，使教育得以延續(xù)下去，并且培養(yǎng)出大批的人才。本文主要從民國時期湘潭縣私立教育的布局、辦學(xué)宗旨、經(jīng)費來源、師資來源、教學(xué)內(nèi)容、德育教育、體育教育、發(fā)展的原因和特點以及評價等方面研究了湘潭私立教育。湘潭縣私立教育經(jīng)歷了一個清末時期開始起步到民國時期得到迅速發(fā)展，在艱難中曲折發(fā)展的過程，呈現(xiàn)出辦學(xué)層次、教學(xué)方式與教學(xué)內(nèi)容多樣化的特點。為湘潭、湖南乃至近代中國培養(yǎng)了一大批具有影響力的人才，為湘潭、湖南乃至全國教育事業(yè)的發(fā)展和社會經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展打下了良好的基礎(chǔ)。民國時期，湘潭縣私立學(xué)校數(shù)量之多、速度發(fā)展之快，在湖南省的地位僅次于長沙和湘鄉(xiāng)地區(qū)，這也使近代湖南教育地區(qū)分布更趨合理化。雖然它的發(fā)展也存在各種不足，但是對今天的教育改革和發(fā)展仍然具有很好的借鑒作用。
[Abstract]:Xiangtan, otherwise known as "Liancheng", also known as "Tancheng", is located in the middle reaches of the Xiangjiang River, in the middle of Hunan Province, is one of the birthplaces of Huxiang culture. Since modern times, Xiangtan has become a place of talent gathering in Hunan, and the appearance of this phenomenon is inseparable from the education of Xiangtan in modern times. After the Sino-Japanese War, Hunan Province carried out the reform of modern education in full swing, and Xiangtan was also included in it. In the period of the Republic of China, the private education in Xiangtan County got an unprecedented development, which filled the shortage of public education caused by the social unrest at that time, so that the education could be continued, and a large number of talents had been trained. This paper mainly studies Xiangtan private education from the aspects of the distribution of private education, the purpose of running schools, the source of funds, the source of teachers, the content of teaching, moral education, physical education, the reasons and characteristics of development and evaluation of the private education in Xiangtan County during the Republic of China. The private education in Xiangtan County experienced the rapid development from the beginning of the late Qing Dynasty to the period of the Republic of China. In the difficult and tortuous development process, the private education in Xiangtan County presented the characteristics of the level of running a school, the diversity of teaching methods and teaching contents. It has trained a large number of influential talents for Xiangtan, Hunan and even modern China, and laid a good foundation for the development of education and social economy in Xiangtan, Hunan and even all over the country. During the period of the Republic of China, the number of private schools in Xiangtan County developed rapidly, and its position was second only to Changsha and Xiangxiang areas in Hunan Province, which also made the distribution of educational areas in modern Hunan more reasonable. Although its development also has a variety of shortcomings, but it still has a good reference for today's educational reform and development.
