【摘要】：清季總理衙門(mén)總辦章京顧肇新在致其兄顧肇熙的一批書(shū)信中,對(duì)1897年中德膠州灣交涉、1898年春張之洞入樞受阻、翁同煝開(kāi)缺原因、總署對(duì)康有為《第六書(shū)》的議覆、戊戌政變后光緒皇帝的處境和就醫(yī)情況等重要問(wèn)題,都有記述和評(píng)議;因?yàn)樽髡呤菤v史事件的親歷者和參與者,臧否人物、評(píng)議時(shí)局,多是局內(nèi)人言,與以往成說(shuō)有所差異。分析這批函札對(duì)研究晚清政治史特別是戊戌前后的朝局和政情將有很大助益和啟發(fā)。
