【摘要】：清末廢科舉之后的數(shù)年間,施行學堂實官獎,學界只是在論及出身問題時有所觸及,缺乏專題研究。學生實官獎方面,有陸軍軍官學堂、北洋高等巡警學堂等專業(yè)學堂,也有大學堂,以及留學生。教員、管理人員方面,除了獎勵實官外,清末還嘗試定章立制,將學堂教員認同為實官。捐資助學方面,為了吸納社會資金,彌補不足,清政府推行實官獎,并主要針對捐巨資者,且多由地方督撫出面申請;獎實官之外,對降職官員捐輸學務(wù)者也予以開復(fù)原官,即捐復(fù);當然,相較于實官獎,學務(wù)捐輸更多的是虛銜獎。在清政府實施學堂實官獎的過程中,不斷有罷廢實官獎的聲音,宣統(tǒng)三年七月學堂實官獎壽終正寢。
