【摘要】：喬治·厄內(nèi)斯特·莫理循是清末民初中國歷史舞臺上非�；钴S的一位歷史人物,曾于一八九七年至一九二零年期間先后擔(dān)任過倫敦《泰晤士報》駐北京記者和中華民國總統(tǒng)顧問。在其擔(dān)任中華民國總統(tǒng)顧問期間,特別是第一次世界大戰(zhàn)爆發(fā)后,曾積極致力于中國參加協(xié)約國。提出過許多包括與中國的財政經(jīng)濟、對外關(guān)系、邊疆問題以及政治等有關(guān)的思想主張,并為此而四處奔走。戰(zhàn)后又以中國技術(shù)顧問的身份參加巴黎和會。
[Abstract]:George Ernest Morrison is a very active historical figure on the stage of Chinese history in late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China.From 1897 to 1920, he was a correspondent for the Times in London and an adviser to the President of the Republic of China.During his time as an adviser to the President of the Republic of China, especially after the outbreak of the first World War, he was actively committed to China's participation in the treaty.He has put forward many ideas, including those related to China's finance and economy, foreign relations, frontier issues and politics, and has been running around for this purpose.After the war, he took part in the Paris Peace Conference as a technical adviser to China.
