不同文化背景的人群在相互交際的過程中會彼此影響,變化也隨之發(fā)生。對于這些變化人們?nèi)绾螒?yīng)對,這也成為跨文化交際領(lǐng)域研究的課題。美國和平隊是世界上最大的志愿者組織之一,進入中國服務(wù)也已經(jīng)有二十多年了。因此,對于和平隊志愿者在中國的跨文化適應(yīng)性研究很有意義,也是很必要的。本研究基于Colleen Ward的ABC模型,從情感,行為和認知三個層面來探索美國和平隊志愿者在中國的跨文化經(jīng)歷。這三個層面分別對應(yīng)了跨文化適應(yīng)研究領(lǐng)域的三種視角:壓力與應(yīng)對策略,文化學(xué)習(xí)和身份認同。本研究從這三個層面調(diào)查了影響和平隊志愿者適應(yīng)狀況的相關(guān)因素及其適應(yīng)結(jié)果,即心理適應(yīng)和社會文化適應(yīng)狀況。本文采用了深度訪談的方式,對位于中國西北地區(qū)甘肅省的18名和平隊志愿者進行了調(diào)查,從上述三個層面探究了影響和平隊志愿者適應(yīng)過程的因素以及這些因素之間的相互關(guān)聯(lián)。情感層面:在文化遷移過程中,志愿者經(jīng)歷了不同程度的文化休克,產(chǎn)生了不同程度的心理壓力。良好的動機,及時、多樣且有效的社會支持能很好地緩解志愿者在異質(zhì)文化中的心理適應(yīng)壓力,產(chǎn)生積極地適應(yīng)結(jié)果。行為層面:在新的文化環(huán)境中,學(xué)習(xí)和掌握必要的生存技能,比如語言,風(fēng)俗等,可以幫助...
