[Abstract]:Zhengxi Mountain is a general name for the western mountains of Beijing. It belongs to the northernmost part of the Taihang Mountains and occupies the top of the Taihang Mountains. It is known as the "right arm of the Shenjing", which arches and guards the city of Beijing. Regarding the geographical scope of Xishan, there is a relatively consistent view at present: from the north to the Nankou Gougou in Changping District, south to the Juma River Valley in Fangshan District, to the west and Hebei Province, and to the east to the Beijing Plain, the administrative area involves Changping.
