【摘要】：甲午戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)后,英國(guó)在華優(yōu)勢(shì)地位受到其他列強(qiáng)的嚴(yán)重挑戰(zhàn),作為其遠(yuǎn)東政策重要組成部分的在華外交政策隨之陷入了困境。為保全既得利益,英國(guó)著手積極調(diào)整在華政策,不論是門戶開(kāi)放政策的倡導(dǎo),還是英日同盟的成立,最大限度地獲得行動(dòng)自由以及維持現(xiàn)狀地位始終都是英國(guó)在華政策的基本出發(fā)點(diǎn)。本文梳理了甲午戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)后到日俄戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)這十年間英國(guó)在華外交政策演變的基本過(guò)程,并在此基礎(chǔ)上從文化的角度進(jìn)行解析,在英國(guó)在華外交政策的轉(zhuǎn)變中,包含著明顯的保守、務(wù)實(shí)、制衡等特征,這既是受英國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化中的保守主義、現(xiàn)實(shí)主義以及均勢(shì)制衡思想的影響,又是其在外交上的運(yùn)用和顯示,在這里,英國(guó)的文化傳統(tǒng)和外交特征獲得了內(nèi)在的一致性。
[Abstract]:After the Sino-Japanese War, Britain's dominant position in China was seriously challenged by other powers, and the foreign policy in China, as an important part of its far East policy, fell into a dilemma. In order to preserve its vested interests, Britain began to actively adjust its policy in China, whether it was the advocacy of the open-door policy or the establishment of the Anglo-Japanese alliance. Maximizing freedom of movement and maintaining the status quo have always been the basic starting points of British policy in China. This paper combs the basic process of the evolution of British foreign policy in China during the decade from the Sino-Japanese War to the Japanese-Russian War, and on this basis analyzes from a cultural point of view. In the transformation of British foreign policy in China, it contains obvious conservatism. Pragmatism, checks and balances and so on, are influenced not only by conservatism, realism and balance of power in British traditional culture, but also by their use and display in diplomacy. Britain's cultural traditions and diplomatic characteristics have acquired internal consistency.
