【摘要】：在史學(xué)研究之中,"經(jīng)世致用"與"為學(xué)問而學(xué)問"兩種治學(xué)態(tài)度常被相提并論。孰是孰非,眾說紛紜。一代史家柳詒徵高張"經(jīng)世致用"之旗,明確反對"為學(xué)問而學(xué)問"。對其"史學(xué)致用"論潛研深探,并與當(dāng)時相關(guān)論說相互比較,則可發(fā)現(xiàn)"經(jīng)世致用"與"為學(xué)問而學(xué)問"之爭,層面有二:第一層面易有共識,第二層面則殊難調(diào)和。當(dāng)代論者探討兩者之爭,多將兩個層面混而為一,益發(fā)淆亂。因此回顧柳氏"史學(xué)致用"之論,梳理二者之爭,也就極有必要。
[Abstract]:In the study of historiography, the two academic attitudes of "applying to the world" and "learning for the sake of learning" are often compared. There are different opinions as to which is right and what is wrong. Liu Yizheng, a generation of historians, raised the banner of "applying to the world" and explicitly opposed "learning for the sake of learning". By studying his theory of "historical application" and comparing it with the relevant theories at that time, we can find that there are two aspects of the dispute between "applying to the world" and "learning for the sake of learning": the first level is easy to have consensus, and the second level is difficult to reconcile. Contemporary theorists discuss the dispute between the two, mix the two levels into one, and become more confused. Therefore, it is very necessary to review Liu's theory of "historical application" and sort out the dispute between the two.
