【摘要】： 貝特蘭·羅素(Bertrand Russell)是二十世紀英國著名的哲學家,是現(xiàn)代西方分析哲學的創(chuàng)始人之一,他的哲學深刻地影響了其后的哲學發(fā)展。 指稱理論是語言哲學學說的主要組成部分之一,對指稱的研究,尤其圍繞“指稱-意義”的區(qū)分是否合理的問題的論爭,成為推進語言哲學發(fā)展的一個重要動力。指稱理論在現(xiàn)代較有影響的是羅素,本文作者認同把羅素指稱理論歸為意義指稱理論的觀點。他的指稱理論也不斷發(fā)展:詞語是代表某種東西的符號(1903);繼而(1905)又把語詞劃分為專名(proper name——直接指的一個對象就是它的意義)和摹狀詞(description——其意義就是由所組成的語詞的意義而定);《指物論》與羅素的指稱理論具有相同的“質”,都認為名稱是對客觀事物的反映。但中國邏輯與西方邏輯產(chǎn)生的歷史文化背景不同,形成的邏輯傳統(tǒng)和邏輯思想也不盡一樣。本文試對羅素意義指稱理論與《指物論》進行比較,并期在比較中對羅素的意義指稱理論有進一步的發(fā)展。 本文共包括以下幾部分內(nèi)容: 第一章對意義指稱問題進行梳理歸納。它包括:關于意義理論的匯總梳理;關于指稱問題的回顧;對意義與指稱關系的總結。 第二章詳細介紹了羅素(Russell)的意義指稱理論。包括:羅素意義指稱理論的基礎親知原則;專門詳細介紹了羅素代表性成就摹狀詞理論;對羅素意義指稱理論的總結。 第三章總結了西方對羅素意義指稱問題的批判和發(fā)展。并分別詳細介紹了典型人物的指稱理論,包括斯特勞森(Strawson)、唐奈蘭(Donnellan)、克里普克(Kripke)。 第四章:試把中國的《指物論》與羅素的意義指稱理論進行比較,擬從新的角度分析歸納羅素的意義指稱理論。這一章首先對《指物論》進行簡單的介紹,然后試著對二者進行比較與初步的總結。
[Abstract]:Bertram Russell Bertrand Russell is a famous British philosopher in the 20th century and one of the founders of modern western analytical philosophy. Reference theory is one of the main components of linguistic philosophy. The study of reference, especially the controversy over whether the distinction between reference and meaning is reasonable, has become an important motive force to promote the development of linguistic philosophy. Russell is the most influential reference theory in modern times. The author agrees with the view that Russell's reference theory is classified as meaning reference theory. His theory of reference is also evolving: words are symbols representing something, 1903s; then 1905) the proper name of words is divided into proper name--a direct reference to its meaning) and a description of what it means. The meaning of the composed words depends on the meaning; the theory of referring to things has the same "quality" with Russell's theory of reference. It is believed that the name is a reflection of objective things. But the historical and cultural background of Chinese logic is different from that of western logic, and the logic tradition and logic thought are not the same. This paper attempts to compare Russell's theory of meaning reference with that of "the theory of reference to things", and in the course of the comparison, there is a further development of Russell's theory of reference of meaning. This paper includes the following parts: The first chapter summarizes the problem of meaning reference. It includes: summing up the theory of meaning, reviewing the problem of reference and summarizing the relationship between meaning and reference. The second chapter introduces Russell Russell's theory of meaning reference in detail. It includes: the basic knowledge principle of Russell's meaning reference theory; the detailed introduction of Russell's representative achievement description theory; the summary of Russell's meaning reference theory. The third chapter summarizes the western criticism and development of Russell's meaning reference. The referential theories of typical characters are introduced in detail, including Strawsonian, Donnellanan, Kripkean. Chapter four: compare the Chinese theory of signifier with Russell's theory of meaning reference, and analyze Russell's theory of meaning reference from a new angle. This chapter first introduces the theory of signifier, and then tries to compare and summarize the two.
