動詞是句子的核心,表達主體的動作或描述主體的狀態(tài),為句子提供中心意義。理解和習得一門語言的核心在于學會如何靈活地使用不同形式的動詞。因此,語言研究應將動詞作為首要的考慮因素之一。國際海事組織(IMO)開發(fā)了一系列示范課程,旨在幫助各締約國履行STCW公約,保證航海新技術、新技能和新觀念能更快地得以推廣。目前人們對于示范課程的語言缺乏關注,這在一定程度上會影響示范課程開發(fā)的質量和使用者對課程的理解。本文以自建語料庫MCC為基礎,以布魯姆的教學目標分類法、夸克的動詞非謂語用法等為框架,采用語料庫的方法對示范課程中動詞的分布、分類及用法進行研究,并總結其特征。研究結果表明,IMO示范課程中的動詞在以下三個層面有著顯著的特征。在分布層面,前150個高頻動詞大多為實義動詞。使用頻率最高動詞的為be,have,use,require,explain等,其中be的頻率遠高于其他動詞。在分類層面,高頻動詞可以劃分為知道、理解、應用、分析、綜合、評價六類,其中每類代表的是學習者需要實現(xiàn)的課程目標。在用法層面,高頻動詞的高頻搭配主要用來介紹專業(yè)術語、闡明知識點的細節(jié)與重要性、課程目標、課程作用等;在示范課...
