【摘要】：當前互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的重要地位更加凸顯,幾乎每個人都能感受到互聯(lián)網(wǎng)對生活方方面面的影響。隨著互聯(lián)網(wǎng)作用的提升,網(wǎng)絡也在改變著美國人參與公民活動的方式�；ヂ�(lián)網(wǎng)是如何影響美國公民的公民生活呢?在不斷演變的美國公民參與中,互聯(lián)網(wǎng)又扮演著什么樣的角色呢?對于這些問題,并沒有黑白分明的答案。事實上,互聯(lián)網(wǎng)所包含的用途和功能多種多樣,我們需要更加細致地理解互聯(lián)網(wǎng)對美國公民參與的影響。同時,我們也應該認識到互聯(lián)網(wǎng)為美國人的公民行為提供了網(wǎng)絡參與的渠道。美國是世界上最具活力的民主國家之一。美國的民主建立在公民對本國社會和政治事務廣泛參與的基礎(chǔ)之上。公民文化是美國社會結(jié)構(gòu)中必不可少的組成部分,而公民參與也隨著美國社會的發(fā)展逐漸演變。這篇論文基于使用與滿足理論以及媒介系統(tǒng)依賴理論,試圖分析作為新媒體的網(wǎng)絡對美國公民參與的影響。文章最后得出結(jié)論,盡管網(wǎng)絡可能會帶來某些消極影響,互聯(lián)網(wǎng)對美國公民參與卻有著積極的作用。
